I may be a little prejudiced but I thought my grand daughter looked adorable!
The only difference we had to have the shell top upside down because when we
would sit the baby up, the shells would fall. With them hanging down we didn't have
that problem.

Pros:

-The blue was very vibrant and beautiful.
-The headband actually looks like the head band in the picture.
-Price is good for what you get.

Cons:
-The width of the outfit is far too large for the length. (Daughter is 6 months-17lbs-27in. She was too long, but not chubby enough to fill in the waist.)
-The fins at the bottom of the tail were floppy and with a wiggly baby, they didn't show up much in photos.
- The sea shells to me, look like orange square flaps. They did not look like shells at all. They also wouldn't stay up if you tried to pose your child in a sitting position.
-The outfit smelled like it has chemicals on it. (I gently washed it before using it.)
-It took FOREVER to get to me.

Overall, I gave it 3 stars because it wasn't horrible, but I had high expectations from the picture.

It was really a great buy. Didn't regret it 1 bit. My daughter liked it and I took a few pictures of her and everyone loved it. Go for it whoever feels like buying it. We're from the Caribbean (Antigua and Barbuda)and I had shipped to a cousin's house for her to bring here and the shipping was fast and great. Make them in bigger sizes and different colours because I have a lot of people asking where I bought it. Loving it

I purchased this product for my baby's 4 month photoshoot. I was rather pleased with it considering the price. However, I recommend it for newborns who are less active. Because my baby is at the age where she kicks and moves a lot, the spaces in the crochet were pretty wide to a point where you could see here little feet and legs. If the crochet used was a bit more firm or if the product was weaved a bit tighter this may not be an issue. Nonetheless, it was worth it for the price.

I was surprised how soft it was and how well it was knitted! My baby girl is about 15lbs and it fit her perfectly. The top didn't flap over like some of the other reviews mentioned. If they had, you could adjust it by simply taking the string that goes through the shells out and reinserting them a little higher. I can't wait to do a photoshoot with this!

Quick delivery. Very sweet although it looks like it could be a little itchy for a baby, the yarn isn't as soft to the touch as I anticipated. And, I was expecting it to be a smaller fit as I intended it for a new born. I will probably send it back because of the sizing but all in all I think it's very cute and appropriate for a photo prop.

THis is such a cute outfit! My daughter looked adorable. The skirt does pull apart easily with a kicking baby, but it still held together. The headband was also a bit big on my daughter but it still worked. She got so many compliments!
