When you need durability in a sandbag, trust TerraRight -
We developed these bags for the most demanding environments. Our bags are 40% to 60% denser than the typical sandbag found at a retail store (33g vs 46g/53g.) You can feel the difference. Use these bags either indoors or outdoors: the UV inhibitors in our 100% new raw polypropylene material ensure that these bags will last at least a minimum of 1600 hours in a full sun environment. Our durable double stitching on the bottom of each bag will ensure that the sand enclosed will be contained in the environment that your requirements demand. Convenient tie strings are attached on each bag so you can quickly secure the contents after filling. Sand not included.
We hold ourselves to the highest standard in the quality of our products. Our products are guaranteed to give you 100% satisfaction in every way for 60 days from date of purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with one of our products, we will make it right. Contact us for more details.
I bought these to hold sand that I place inside Agility Tunnel Bags. Most folks who have agility equipment place gravel in their tunnel bags and jump weight bags because water gets in and stays in the sand, making the tunnel bags and jump weight bags even heavier to move around. I decided to save $$ and go with playground sand instead, which was half price at the time. I decided to use flood control sandbags to help keep the sand drier. I also use some cheap watertight grocery bags that I placed these sandbags filled with sand into to use for holding down jumps. So far, no water has crept into the sand inside my tunnel bags or the cheap grocery bags to cause them to become heavier. |
Disclaimer - I did not get these for flood control. I got these to make weight bags. |
These are sturdy sandbags, and they were far less expensive than the ones at Lowe's or Home Depot. I filled each one only about halfway full, to make sure I could actually lift them. They held up fine during the entire hurricane season, and most of them got wet with heavy rains (fortunately, no serious flooding). My only complaint is that the ties don't seem to stay in place very well. When I lifted the sandbags, the ties were slipping up over the tuft, almost coming off. I tied them pretty tightly, but the ties are slippery material and they're on the slippery material of the sandbags... so they don't want to stay put. I suppose you could make an extra effort and staple them shut. |
I am using these bags for brass shells from the gun range to take them to recycle. I will be using them repeatedly and they appear to be up to the task. Each bag holds about 40 lbs. of brass. |
They seem very sturdy and they have been in the Tucson sun for around 6 weeks in July and august, and show no sign of deterioration. The ties work well, and they were a lot less expensive than others. I am very happy with them. |
Like the ties, appears to be a durable product, good value, timely receipt |
I bought these bags to dispose of unwanted landscape rocks that I no longer wanted. I have filled several bags |
Very easy to fill and tie. Kept the water from my doors great! |
