This was a re-order because the first one had a leg that would not extend. I returned it and re-ordered this one. It came nicely and securely packaged and everything worked perfectly. I attached the included fluid control head and tested it immediately. The leg extensions were fine but I miss my old tripod's flip lock extension controls. These simply took a little more time. The tilt and pan were very smooth and hoping it would wok well with my new Nikon P900, I took it to my favorite scenic spot. I was impressed with the video tilt and pan. I went full zoom and was disappointed at the sensitivity to every little move. A remote control switch is necessary (one came with my camera but I now have to find it!). There is a provision on the main tube to hang weight to add stability but haven't tried that yet. I learned how to remove one leg and use it as a monopod. Excellent feature. My only "complaint" is that once the fluid head is on, you can't use the included carrying bag. It just will not fit. I had to re-attach the standard head and there was no bag or way to carry the fluid head and control handle securely. The carrying bag should be just an inch or two wider at one end. I also ended with a screw and allen wrench of the parts for assembly that I couldn't understand what they were for. The instructions didn't explain what they were for. Overall, I'm satisfied with the performance but not with the setup and the disassembly at a photo shoot. I'd recommend it for the semi-professional and very patient enthusiast but not for the professional in a hurry.

Instead of a $300 tripod I opted for this... who am I kidding. .. I couldn't afford a $300 Manfroto, Velbon or other big name! Lol! But strangely enough... this great buy does the job superbly! My only oops is I should have opted for the Carbon Fiber model as I'll be using this to film documentary and video applications and Less Weight = Longer shooting & Less Breaks which Equal More Productivity and Happier Clients!

Complaints: Needs: 1) A Day Um bag that will hold both the tilt/pan head cause at present the cheapo bag that it comes with only holds the legs and the ball head when attached. [LONGER BAG PLEASE! This is the reason for the 4 instead of 5 Star Review!]
2.) A slightly longer mount screw that you use to attach the legs n heads feels stable but one day your gonna loose it or it'll break... then what?
3.) Wider spike retractable feet... I mean what happens is you travel and set it in dirt... no ground grip!
4.) If your gonna make one leg able to unscrew to be used as a tripod... make that one leg a bit more substantial (not just by way of a foam grip).

Regardless these non-dealbreaker flaws, this is a markably good tripod worth every cent. I'd recomend this to anyone needing a good budget tripod to get the dirty deed done.

Works well so far. It comes with two different types of "heads" (not sure exactly what they are called lol). The larger fluid head works very well, but I haven't tested the ball head yet as it is not as good in my opinion for pan/tilting. All the materials seem to be high quality and there are multiple different adjustments that can be setup. If I end up finding any issues I will come back and update the review.

This tripod feels sturdy, like it can take a lot of abuse. The ball head and "fluid" video head are a dream to have for different capturing situations (photo/video/etc.). I would say this is an all-around fantastic tripod for its price point. Yes, it is a middle ground tripod between the $15 dollar wonders, and the high-end Manfrotto tripods, etc. However, this is so far above the low-end tripods and affordable, you should definitely consider this, especially if you are on a tight budget like me.

The cons I have are minimal. The center column twist ring had some excess glue, or something, that I needed to break free before use. It is still a little scratchy when turning, but nothing a good shot of canned air can't fix. The Amazon images don't quite match what I received, but they are very close. For example, the plates come with a D-ring to be able to twist with your fingers, instead of needing a screw driver or nickel. It's a small feature, but it does save a lot of frustration. Lastly, the instructions aren't super detailed, but you can figure things out for the most part. There are also YouTube instruction videos I've found for the 62" portable where you can obtain the gist for this 64" tripod.

After reading some reviews I was worried I made the wrong choice by ordering this. I wasn’t. It’s way heavier duty than I expected, and I love it. The fluid head works great, it comes with the ball head too, which means it comes with 2 quick release plates, comes with a decent carry case (though I’m not sure will fit with fluid head on). But I’m definitely happy with it. And for half the price or better, of pro brand tripods, you’ll hardly notice the difference.

*also, one guy complained of slight wobble of head when panning, this means you didn’t seat the head correctly with the bolt and plastic? Washer. After a second adjustment I got it to work perfectly.

This is a quite well engineered tripod which has been thought through well. Probably not as solid as I would have liked but I do have quite a heavy camera though well within the stated weight max.

I did have a problem with the leg position locks which control how far out the legs can come. After reading the instructions I discovered the legs were mounted back to front so that the clips were on the inside of the legs. I had to take each of the legs off and remount them, fiddly but doable. Now the clips are on the outside they now work.

I would recommend this tripod it works its strong. Its not the lightest tripod but its a lot lighter and handy than my other tripod which was probably 4x the weight. great for starting on a budget and good quality.

Good looking and fantastic value, the build quality is also surprisingly good and looks like it should last for many years to come. The days when you needed to spend several hundred pounds for a decent tripod are over!

Excellent tripod for the money, very solid build quality and materials. At this price range I could not ask for more, it’s easy to set up and the fluid video head really does deliver on its promise, recommended!

Very happy with this tripod, build quality is excellent and for the price I could not find any better ones, realiable as can be.

Tiene bastante buena pinta, si bien creo que la cabeza para cámara de vídeo, los acabados son un pelín espartanos (en comparación la rótula para cámara de foto, pero muy eficaz). Ojo, no es queja, es una observación. Cierto es que cumple muy de sobra lo que esperas.
El trípode tiene un excelente acabado y es robusto. La sensibilidad es alucinante cuando lo manejas, que es lo más importante. Por 59 Euros, imbatible.
Recomendado 100%.
Por poner una pequeña pega, la bolsa de transporte es demasiado pequeña y no permite llevar la cabeza de vídeo montada en el trípode. Tienes que desmontarla para que entre. Con otro cabezal (el de cámara de fotos) sí que cabe.

This is better quality then the cheaper Neewer with the fluid head. The cheaper one broke in less then 2 weeks and was unstable. This one has more durability much smoother video take, not all the shakiness, Better connection to the legs. awesome monopod option. A little annoying the fluid head does not fit in the bag attached is why its a 4 star. otherwise good investment. Local stores have non fluid heads just ball for the same price.

El mejor trípode que he tenido. La calidad es tremenda, muy estético y con muchas funciones. Muy sólido. Nada que ver con los trípodes de 30 o 40 euros. Merece la pena un trípode como este. Una calidad precio sobresaliente.

Quería un buen trípode para acoplar un telescopio terrestre. El tríopode es bastante robusto y los ajustes parecen muy estables. Temía que el cabezal de vídeo no se moviera con suavemente, pero se desliza sin dificultades y sin dar saltos. No le he puesto mucho peso, pero el comportamiento hasta ahora va muy bien. El cabezal de bola también es muy fluido. Las patas se enroscan y desenroscan sin problemas y ajustan fuertemente. De momento, muy satisfecho con la compra.

El trípode es muy compacto plegado, tiene muchos tipos de posición y eso es genial, por tanto es muy versátil. También añadir que es un trípode de viaje y por tanto es ligero y eso conlleva a una estabilidad algo menor que los trípodes convencionales, aun así soporta perfectamente mi cámara reflex montada ademas sobre mi shoulder-rig (foto).

En el paquete 2 cajas:
-1º caja: trípode, cabezal de bola, llave allen y manual.
-2º caja cabezal de vídeo fluido (ademas la fluidez es regulable)

Super satisfied with the tripod itself. Absolutely awesome for the price. I only put 4 stars because of the tripod head is a bit cheap.

Un producto muy bueno para el precio. La versatilidad del producto junto con la rótula fluida para video es muy bueno. Tal y como parece en las fotos. La única pega que pongo no es al producto sino al embalaje que venia en muy mal estado. Era para mi y no importa pero si fuera para regalo no habría quedado bien.

Really well made. Feels solid and like it will take a lot of bumps without an issue. But not too heavy either.

Has the option to use as a monopod or tripod which works really well.

An all round great bit of kit!
