I was skeptical when ordering this, as it didn’t seem like a solid remedy to Ring’s lack of design vision. When installing it today, I realized the screws didn’t really tighten the bracket to the gutter. I had to flip the screws to the front to make it work. I also had to glue the fingered brackets together, as the camera kept rotating downward. I also had to use Loc-tite to keep the side screw in. This is obviously only a temp solution, as I can’t see this holding up for too long.

Absolutely the best! Took seconds mount the solar panel and the camera (purchased camera gutter mount too).
Plus the bonus was it took us seconds to remove and re-mount before and after Hurricane Dorian. Also, purchased solar panels for Ring Cameras. Working great so far.

The four holes on the mounting plate do not match the holes on the Ring Spotlight Cam Battery. Not sure if it works with Spotlight Cam Wired.

This is an update. For the Spltlight Cam, the mounting plate is not used. However, the product is still problematic:
1. The two screws that tighten the mount to the gutter are too short. They could not reach the gutter wall and the the bracket is just hang on the gutter loose. Not tight at all.
2. The universal adapter screw cannot be tighten completely to the bracket because it then would be on a wrong orientation.
I think the design is fundamentally flawed, especially that it is supposed to be custom made for the spotlight cams, and expensive. I've changed my original one star to two star. It is kind of work but probably won't survive the for storm.

I have had it up for a couple of month and my ring camera holds without any problems.

I bought 3 of these. They worked well but I had to reverse the screws and screw from outside to the gutter versus from inside of the gutter. The metal bracket needs to be flush against the gutter and most gutters have a metal lip in the inside part of the gutter not allowing it to be flush. I broke one of the 3 trying to force it to work as the picture shows before figuring this out.

Works as described. Fit perfectly on gutter. Seems well made. Absolutely no complaints.

Great deal, easily mounts. Well worth it and has held up great!

I received these and and installed one thought it looked horrible. It sticks out so far and the aesthetics of the installed camera with this mount are not good. I am no perfectionist, but I could not live with it. I ended up building something that straps over the gutter and looks a 1000 times better.

Does what it says on the tin but in my opinion a bit pricey for what it is

The screws on the mounting plate do not fit the holes on the mounting plate of the Ring Camera.

Nicht nur das das Produkt 2 Tage zu spät hier Eingetroffen ist (Ich hatte extra einen Handwerker bestellt der mir alles an die Dachrinne Montiert), auch entspricht das Produkt nicht der Beschreibung (die Aufnahmeplatte wo die Ring Spotlightcam befestigt wird passt nicht! Die Abstände von den Bohrungen stimmen nicht überein. Auch ist der Halter für das Gewicht der Kamera nicht ausgelegt, die Einrastfunktion kann die Kamera nicht in Schräglage halten und ist aus billigen Plastik. Deshalb habe ich mir nun selbst einen Halter gebaut der Hält was er Verspricht und diesen hier Zurück geschickt!

aus meiner Sicht brauchbar, wenn auch vielleicht nicht perfekt - Langzeittest (Wetterfestigkeit) steht natürlich noch aus ...
