I ordered this, and I'm going to keep it, but I cannot give it a high rating. It says it will function with up to 44 pounds. No way. I put my blackmagic production camera rig on it, which--lens and battery and all--might weight 10 or 11 pounds. But there is way too much play in the rollers of this thing to ever think you are going to get a good shot. If you mount your camera on this and grab the top of your camera and push-pull, you will get a solid half inch of free wobble back and forth. Then, if you try to slide the camera with this free wobble area not perfectly centered, it will grab and drag all the way down. For a larger camera (anything over a couple pounds), it's just not usable.

I think it would work great for your iphone or a really small camera if you did not need to touch the camera at all . . . just slide it across. But if you are going to be touching the camera (pulling focus, panning tilting, etc.) you'd be just as well to hold the camera in your hands.

This dolly is awesome! For months now, I've been wanting to expand my camera gear collection in an effort to make my work look more polished. Film is just something I do for fun, but I don't want it to look amateurish. So I decided a dolly would be a good investment. The zeal slider is such a fun item! It's not too heavy and the legs fold up. It's a universal fit for all tripods. What I admire most about it is how smoothly it moves along the track. I've not noticed any catching or awkward movements when sliding... just a liquid smooth transition. It's 4 feet in length, so not too long, but long enough. And I was impressed with the price. It's ideal for people on a budget, such as myself. But I feel like it's something that will last years if I take good care of it.

This thing is simply AMAZING! So I was simply looking to get some action shots without myself fumbling the camera along making our movie look amateur. So I went online and eventually stumbled upon this camera slider. After doing some homework and checking out some reviews, there is a reason that there are so many awesome reviews for this! It has worked better than expected since day 1 and has paid for itself ten-fold!

This product is solid and well-made. I appreciate its all aluminum construction and sturdy design. Adjustable rubber feet allow almost infinite balance and the carriage - ball bearing rollers, slides smoothly, effortlessly, and pretty quietly. It's not exactly lightweight, but consider that it's not a toy. I recommend it for sure.

unica pecca: niente frizione, per i lresto è un ottimo prodotto con cui fare delle bellissime carrellate, l'importante è arrivare ad ottenere una sensibilità nel braccio (senza frizione non si può fare diversamente).

Nel complesso il prezzo e la qualità del prodotto sono di gran lunga superiori a qualche piccola (piccolissima) magagna.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo robusto e da poche vibrazioni. Da tenere sempre le guide pulite e ogni tanto bisona registrare i cuscinetti sotto

This is a great slider for anyone who knows how to manually move the camera. In our case we wanted the extra length for more dramatic shots. you do require two tripods or stands to make sure the slider keeps straight.
