The product is as described. It comes with said filters in an album like booklet. Filter holder is also provided along the filters, so no need to buy separately. Operationally filters work as desired. Build quality is good as well.

Coming to why only 3 stars:

- $28 - it should have been like the hard plastic filters provided with the flash instead of thin sheets - with auto filter detection
- Given above is not true - it is more VFM to buy $8-10 filter sets available by other companies that attach using a velcro. They will be compatible with other non-Nikon flashes as well.

From the description: "color filter holder is required and is available separately" so I ordered on separately, but it actually does come with the filter holder. Not sure why it only comes with two light amber filters (you might need to stack 3 or 4 or match the color or warm dim lighting), but 3 or 4 red filters that are quite dark (so dark that you cannot even use one unless you are looking for a red dramatic effect). With the holder you can use your own gels if you have them, if not this is a good place to start.

The Nikon SB-700 Speedlight comes with two snap-on gels: full CTO and full CTG. But if you need to gel the light for a different color you need this set. The set comes with the holder, so don't buy that separately.

This comes with a filter holder so you don't need to by a second one as I did.

Little overpriced from Nikon

Fortunately, I read the other reviews first and cancelled the filter holder I also ordered. It DOES come with one. Just an odd oversight in the product description. Otherwise... looks to be a fine buy.
