First of all, I like the small duo charger, allowing me to charge 2 batteries at once with a single power source. A bonus since my Sony RX100 V is eating batteries like mad.

As for the power capacity, it doesn't have what it claims (1600 mAh). I did a test of recording video on my camera and this battery only last about 80% of what Sony battery can.

However, I still like it because of price. 2 of this batteries is still cheaper than one Sony battery with more combine capacity. It is just sad that all these brands have false claim.

I also bought but returned the "BM Premium 2-Pack of NP-BX1 NP-BX1/M8 Batteries" for false claim. This wasabi has just a little more capacity than BM Premium.

I did a comparison of battery life in my Sony RX100 III by putting the camera on a tripod, pointing it at a clock, and starting video recording (1080p). I charged the original (year or so old) Sony battery in a Sony charger, the new Wasabi battery in the Wasabi charger, and recorded video, restarting the recording every 30 minutes (the max recording time on the camera), and waiting to see how long it took to exhaust the charge on the battery. The Sony battery lasted for slightly over 90 minutes, the Wasabi battery for only about 60 minutes, even though the Wasabi battery is specified to have larger capacity.

So the Wasabi battery has in actual use only about 2/3 the capacity of the Sony battery, but an extra Sony battery costs 4 or 5 times the price of a Wasabi battery, making the Wasabi battery a good value for the money. I'll probably use my 2 Sony batteries as my primary batteries, but it will be useful to have a couple Wasabi batteries as spares for long hikes or vacation days.

The USB charger that came with the batteries is quite nice. It appears to work with Wasabi batteries and Sony batteries, and being able to charge two batteries at once is very handy. It has a light for each battery slot that is red while charging, and green while charging is complete.

I am a purchasing consumer.

5/5 stars... no complaints at all. If I had to venture a guess, mah capacity is a little less than OEM Sony cells. But for the asking price these are OK by me. Two of these costs less than one OEM Sony cell and results in much more mah capacity.

Battery charger works great too.

I will be purchasing 1-2 more cells soon.

January 14, 2018 Update: These cells are still going on strong, and I have no complaints. I've been using them off and on the past 1.5 months.

April 8, 2018 Update: These cells are still going strong. No complaints after dozens of hiking/camping trips and a couple vacations.

Using these batteries in my Sony FDR-X3000 Action cam that is attached to a modified DJI Phantom 1 quad copter - this DJI can fly for over 30 minutes so I needed reliable power for the Sony as it's also the camera for FPV video source as well as shooting 4K aerial - I have bought Wasabi batteries for my Fuji X cameras and JVC professional Camcorders and never had an issue with them as well as their chargers so I go out of my way to buy their products. Received NO COMPENSATION FOR THIS REVIEW!

One side of the charger stopped charging, down to 50% operational capability at this point. would not recommend this piece of gear.

For $20, you can't go wrong!

I mean, TWO batteries and a DUAL charger for under $20? Those Sony batteries cost $40-50 OEM retail alone. Please be aware that the charger comes with a micro USB port and USB port. It does not have an AC plug adapter. You can use the AC adapter that came with your camera to insert the USB into it.

Only wish the cord was another 2' longer to give some slack. When you got a tower computer sitting on the floor and the USB ports on the front panel, hanging the charger off a normal height desk needs a little more cord.

I have a number of cameras and have bought Wasabi chargers/spare batteries for every one. I am an amateur photographer and I like to have one or two spare charged batteries in my pocket whenever I go on a photo shoot and Wasabi chargers and batteries have always performed well for me. Before Wasabi I have tried other vendors products and it was always hit or miss as to whether the batteries would work well, but so far Wasabi has always performed well.

PROS :
-larger than retail battery that came with my rx-100 iii (1240mAh vs 1600mAh)
-ability to charge two batteries at once!

CONS :
-none

Overall Thoughts :
Wasabi batteries have never failed me. They're quite cheap, and typically come with a battery charger. This charger can do two batteries at once, and has a microusb charge port so that fits in line with my phone's charger. No need to have an extra cable laying about. Love it.

THIS CHARGER IS TINY! fits both batteries and you can charge one or two at a time each with it own indicating red/green indicating light, charger itself is a little bigger than a match box and the cable they provided seems like it's good quality. I have friends who have used Wasabi batteries who say it last just as long and in some cases slightly longer in normal conditions so decided to go with these instead of OEM.

very nice

just bought it and expect a reliable product to support my picture taking during extensive travel. Price is ok, till now it works well.

Works like a charm.

Really fast delivery and product works great in my Sony RX100 VI

So handy being able to charge 2 batteries at once.

Superb
