You need two of them if your buying it for a gimbal like the Weebill S. I wish I had read the reviews before I bought mine. I have to order another one so it was lost time.

The quick release will only release from one screw hole. So yes you can quickly release the handle from the unit but you can't put it into another position or screw hole other unless you buy another one. You'll only need the male end. The directions are basically useless and it's not very easy to understand how it actually works. There is an online video that someone made just type in the full name of the thing and you should find it. It comes in one piece but it's actually two together and getting it apart the first time is a bit tricky.
Other than that it works really well it's just a bit of unclear and shifty marketing. It seems reasonable at $19. But most people will need at least two of these so it's really $40.

The round form factor makes it ideal for my monopod, which doubles as a walking staff when I'm not using it to support my camera. I leave it on and the knurled round grip feels better in my hand than the monopod without it. It's nicely machined anodized aluminum and holds both my Olympus micro four thirds and Canon DSLR/full size lenses securely. I just received my second one.

Not a lot needed to say. It’s a quick release. And it works well. It’s very solidly built and there’s no fear of it releasing unintentionally but it’s really easy to use and very handy. I wish it was cheaper because now I want like 5 of them. I’m still going to buy at least one more though because I don’t think there’s a better product available this easy to use. 5 stars as is and if it was about 6 dollars cheaper I’d give it 7 stars.

If you bought the zhiyun weebil, I had to buy 2 of these pieces. Worth it, makes it quick and easy to swap the handles from a monopod to underslung

While quarantining, I needed a way to move my cell from one tripod/support system to another during extended video calls, and this was the perfect solution. I attached a small ball head and cell phone holder, and can now easily move the rig from a regular tripod to a tabletop tripod, to a clip mount, with ease.

I’ve also used it with my APS-C cameras and felt very comfortable with it. It feels strong and sturdy, and doesn’t exhibit any play.

I liked these so much, I bought four of them!

This small item made it so much more convenient to film with my Zhiyun crane plus. Any time I had to set it down to adjust lighting or whatever else, all I had to do was click it in place, and then pick it back up when I was finished! Definitely would've had a much harder time if it weren't for this item.

Not giving 5 stars only because it’s a pain in the ass you gotta buy 2 of them if you want to use it on your Weebill S. I wish you could buy the male end separately instead of purchasing a 2nd or 3rd one just to add more items you want to connect to. I purchased 2 so far and it looks like I need to buy a 3rd one just so I can add to a tripod.
