Speakers received very little use and quit working after 2 months. There is a 1 year warranty... almost. You must agree to pay shipping to NY and back just to find out if the manufacturer will fix the problem without additional charge. I opted not to ship to manufacturer because from AL the cheapest ground shipping was $30 each way. The return process also asked for a credit card and preauthorize a repair cost for $60. That would have left me paying $120 to repair a set of $176 speakers. That's not a warranty. Customer service was very hard to understand and would not budge basically saying "that's our policy you decide whether it's worth pursuing." I decided no because the product lacked quality.
The speakers sounded great when they worked but 2 months in they would not power on. $176 for speakers that last 2 months. No thanks. Not again.
Perfect option for our back deck. Nice not to have to deal with receivers and to be able to just link up the phone and go. Plenty of power to drowned out conversation. Makes our patio the perfect spot for summer hang outs.
Revised Update: Started making this odd popping sound within three days of installing. Not bluetooth related as they make the sound disconnected from bluetooth. Seeing how things work out as I try to troubleshoot.
Revision 2: Acting up again, and doing what a lot of the negative reviews are saying. Adding a video as an example. They just make an awful clicking sound. Tried multiple devices with the same result. They do it powered in and disconnected too. I don't recommend them, especially with the risk and hassle of returning them to a 3rd party vendor on Amazon. Slow to no response.
Installed these speakers underneath the eve of the roof to protect them from the weather. Even though they're waterproof, I found it to be a good idea to protect them from the elements so they'll last a long time. One of the speakers does need to be connected to power, the second is powered by connecting to the main speaker with the supplied speaker wire. The supplied wire is a bit short, so I had to extend the wire using wire connectors and extra speaker wire. I also daisy chained two additional Insigia speakers I already had to fill the backyard with music--have 4 speakers connected total. Set the volume on the main speaker to max, and you're able to control the volume from your phone. Easy Bluetooth set up, lets you listen to your personal music, pandora, Spotify, etc. the sound quality is great; crisp, clear sound and enough bass for speakers at this price point. These speakers are listed as 800 watts online, the box I received actually says they're 1000 watts. Definitely recommend for backyard music installation. Read other reviews before purchasing, I'm wondering if some of the negative reviews were reviewing the lower wattage speakers, because these sound great and have plenty of volume and bass.
First off, I consider myself somewhat of an audiophile. A few years ago I purchased a pair of Polk Audio Atrium 4 Outdoor Speakers (non bluetooth for $100.00) for my patio. I was very unhappy with their sound. I moved and built a new patio. This time I decided on the Pyle PDWR64BTB Waterproof and Bluetooth 6.5'' Indoor/Outdoor Speaker System. While these are $166.00, they include a 1000 watt amp (that's what the box says) so these would be comparable to the Polk Audio speakers I bought. These Pyle speakers sound amazing!! And the power, who would want more. Of course they can be player very loud. More important is at normal listening levels, the distortion is VERY low. That's why you really want the watts. I can run them through Alexa just fine (Alexa, please play Spotify Southern rock play list on the patio speakers". "Alexa louder". I also bought this WiFi 2 outlet plug to turn them off and my string lights off and on. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077GM9D8B/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This is a great combination. This can be turned off and on with either Alexa or Google Home by saying "Hey Google, turn of patio speakers". But the real winner here are these Pyle PDWR64BTB Indoor/Outdoor Speakers. My only gripe is the AC power corn and the connecting speaker wire is too short. I had to use an extension cord and this speaker core (you only use one of them) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BTB7J8O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I highly recommend these speakers. I read all the reviews and some complained they stopped working. I bought the Amazon extended warranty just for insurance.
Funcionó 24 horas antes de que la conexión de Bluetooth comenzara a fallar. Cada 3 segundos había desconexión y re conexión lo que hace imposible disfrutar la música
