The LG Technician just left our house to inspect a 2 month old 65" 4K Smart TV with a bad screen. The tech & the engineer on the phone falsely accused us of hitting the TV to break it and get out of honoring the warranty. Just like that, NO WARRANTY!!! The TV is pristine, not a scratch, dent or warped, there is an internal screen problem and LG will not stand by their product. Until today I was a fan of the LG TV as I have 2 other wall mounted TV's for several years in the house, never again and to anyone reading this, spend your money elsewhere. LG does not and will not stand by their product!!!!

We were very unhappy, we struggled for a month to buy a new TV because the 1st TV we received from the seller VANNS was defected with dead pixels in the screen. So we ordered a replacement, which also came defective. The shipping box was damaged, the TV inside had dents on the back, had several more black dead pixels spots all over the TV. We tried troubleshooting with LG team for 3 hours and yet it dint work. And finally Amazon was sweet enough to replace both TVs and helped us out.
Do not buy TV from Vanns. They carry defective and damaged pieces. And both times we receive worse than the first.

2 months after purchase and the picture is gone. All I get is the sound. I turn it off for 10 minutes, the picture comes back then disappears after 30 minutes.

The TV worked great....for about 6 weeks. Then we started getting pink static flashing across the screen at intermittent times, until at 8 weeks the screen is nothing but pink static. We have been trying to get help from LG for nearly 2 months and have zero resolution yet. They either hang up, don't send information they said they would send, or refuse to pay the person they hired to fix it (so they don't come fix it). Worst purchase we have made recently and the worst customer service to resolve the issue. Is there any recourse from Amazon?

Once you get all your picture settings straight, it's a beautiful tv. Turn off the trumotion and the local dimming and you'll be happy for sure. It also has a killer speaker inside, I'm afraid at how loud it can get, really. The only thing is, make sure to sit down and learn what each setting does; get it where it looks best. Then, it's basically perfect in every way. The smart tv UI is the best in the business, and it's very fast.

Absolutely love it!! It was easy to put together and hook up to our satellite & easy to set up the screen. The picture quality is fantastic, couldn’t be happier !! If anyone is in doubt, Please contact me. I’ve had it on 24/7 since I got it, because somebody is always in the living room, and no problems whatsoever so far!!

I purchased my LG 55SM8100aua from Vanns (through Amazon) a number of weeks ago and couldn't be happier. I ended up purchasing this tv for $489.00 which was the best price I could find anywhere including online and brick and mortar. The tv arrived as scheduled and packaging was excellent. I replaced an 8 year old LG tv so I was concerned about the potential difficulty of setting this up and I couldn't have been more wrong as set-up was very easy. The picture and quality of this tv is excellent and I really like how small the bezel/framing is around the picture because when the tv is on all you see is screen and not framing. Also, the sound quality is a big improvement from my older tv. Just a quick statement regarding set-up, I connected the HDMI to my cable box, turned on the tv and followed the easy instructions and I was watching my new tv in a matter of a few minutes.

Amazing tv! Love the picture quality. I keep it on vivid mode, turn sharpness to max and backlight and contrast to max and color to 70, and the picture is stunning!
