Naxa Electronics Nas 3100 Wearable Bluetooth Speaker what I like & dont like about the speaker.
1- Cheap and won't hurt your pockets or bank
2- Nice Design / Looks
3- Plays Loud infact Louder than my Bose
4- Features on the device from Auxiliary & USB / SD Card import to FM radio built in
1- Comfort feel, It dont have any flexibility when putting them on or taking them off causing irritation on both side of your neck and you can feel the sharp top edge on the back of your neck while wearing the Naxa Speaker
2- Battery life 2hr of music Playtime when played on max volume but it can get through your day if played at 50% & below
3- Sound play, music & video audio comes out distorted at max volume depending on what you are playing meaning some audio comes out good & some bad. It also lacks on bass but again depending on what song you are playing
Keep in mind this is not an Elite Wearable Speaker like Bose, JBL, Sony, & the LG just to name a few that cost hundreds of dollars $
You get what you pay for & for under $20 I say the Naxa Electronics Nas 3100 Wearable Bluetooth Speaker is a winner. Yee!
I got this trying to keep my volume down at a shared office. While it seems to work mostly acceptably at it's main function, it is slightly uncomfortable to put on as it's somewhat narrow, but it's doable.
My biggest complaint is how many noises it makes turning on and off, and how it deals with volume. I wanted something to quietly listen to music or podcasts but still have my hearing for taking phone calls, but turning this thing on makes a super-futuristic noise like a spaceship taking off, followed by various chimes and beeps when it finds your device and connects, plus annoying persistent beeps for low battery, and another spaceship noise for turning it off. There doesn't appear to be a way to turn these off or down as far as I can tell, and they are very loud and honestly kind of embarrassing at the office. I have to warn my cubical neighbors when I am turning them on and off, which kind of negates the point of an office speaker for me. Volume up/down just turns the volume on your device up or down, and some music I am listening to is even too loud on the lowest setting, so I wish it had dedicated volume control on the device so I could fine tune the volume for listening, as well.
I might be willing to overlook all these issues if it were lower priced, but I'm afraid at this price I would expect at least *some* of these issues to not be there.
For twenty dollars you have a true value. Great for using in the outdoor work environment, like the bodyshop where I work.
Sound quality is good to fair
Volume over powers most other sounds
Controls work well
I would not recommend these to a sound snob
It works fine when sitting in one place but seems to lose Bluetooth connectivity when in a moving vehicle. When I use a non-Bluetooth music source through the aux in cable, there is no disruption, it keeps playing. But it always drops signal when using Bluetooth to stream podcasts from my phone on my commute. The reason I believe it is this neck speaker and not my phone is because the Bluetooth connectivity is not lost when I use my Oontz Angle speaker. Also it has an annoying constant beep when the battery is low. First time to charge is 7 hours just FYI. Great concept though, and you can use the USB or aux-in cable with an MP3 or music or audiobook you have stored on a device or thumb-drive.
1st time I ordered this, the box came with no cords. It says there should be 3 different cords with this package. It didn’t even have a charging cord. Talked to Amazon help. She said she would just send a new unit, because we didn’t know if it would even work. Just opened the box, and got a plastic bag, with the speaker in it. No cords. Tried to get it to work, with a cord I had. The speaker is somewhat good, but the mic is muffled. I’m pretty disappointed.
Not made clear in the description is that it is made of rigid plastic, which allows for no flexibility for fitting around your neck if you have a slightly larger than average neck size.
It was easy to pair, but its hard plastic with sharp edges. Their is no give to getting it around your neck if its bigger than normal. Would not buy again. You get what you pay for. Sound it good..i use pandora
I got this device for my dog walks. Works perfectly when listing to podcasts. Yes, the sound quality is not the best, but I am not looking for the perfect audio experience on my walks. The only negative is that when the device is turned on or off, the indicator sound is far too load. It feels like it is on full blast which is very annoying. Cannot believe that the producer missed to fix this. Please come with an update to the software in it.
