I bought this Pendoo Android media box because my Fire TV Stick 1st Gen died and my coworker recommended this brand. I noticed that the specs for version X11 and X12 are pretty much identical, so I just went ahead with the newer model for around the same price.

I have this connected via hard wired network cable and hooked up to a Vizio 4K TV. Boot time and just general navigation is so much snappier than the old Fire Stick.  I just received this, and have been fiddling with it all day as I have the day off. So far, I have tested this for my main uses and it has been great. It works just fine with HBO Max, Xfinity Stream, Disney +, and YouTube. I was also able to get MP4 and MKV video files to play off of a NTFS formatted flash drive, using VLC player App that is pre-installed.

**Save yourself some time and stress. The trick to getting this device to work with the aforementioned Apps is to use the APKPure App that is pre-installed. Go to its store and snag those apps from there.**

The included keypad is a nice plus as I hate typing search words with a virtual keyboard. Note per my picture that the USB dongle comes stored in the battery chamber of the keypad. It took me a sec to figure this out. After extensive use today, I feel like you need to use the remote in tandem with the key pad. For me, that is a minor inconvenience that I'm totally fine with.

All in all, I appreciate this thing for what it is. It's beefed up specs, mostly NO instructions, nice piece of tech, that may require some poking around to optimize and customize for your required purposes. Once you get that straight, you will realize that it's GREAT.

Update: Saw some folks saying there is no Home button on the keyboard. Not true. Hold down FN at the bottom right, and press E (little house icon).

This box is wonderful compared to other streaming boxes I have owned it has 4GB RAM 64GB ROM, X12. I was set up in only a few minutes and I was on google play store downloading some apps. The Wireless Mini Keyboard fit in my hand perfect. The Wireless Mini Keyboard was so much easier to use then the larger keypads I have been using. You will be happy with the keypads size and ability to move around in your streaming box. The pad has a re-chargeable battery installed you never need to buy a battery again. I was typing in the names of new apps in seconds, the pointer on the key paid was easy to navigate and very responsive to my touch. This Pendoo box played all day with very little buffering, I have 100 mbs coming into the house. I was also impressed with the music that played when it was first turned on. I installed several apps with ease in a few minutes. I also installed the brave app so I can watch the local tv stations from where I grew up. I was able to download music into the box and transfer to my pc with no problem You can have all the station in the world you want installed on the Android TV Box 10.0. it will be just a matter of you finding the apps you need This is the box you need

So far units working great a few minor issues. 1 is an ongoing issue with every android Box I have the otherwise. The 2nd I created myself. Only had going for couple days seem to be doing great lot faster than one I replaced. Update I so happy I 2nd to replace the one in the bedroom. There fast East to set up. Not any heat issue. My only issue is if it goes in sleep mode not want wake up. I see if the one I just ordered will have that issue also. This is my 2nd box.
Only issue both Box have it does not want to come out of sleep mode.
Fantastic customer service quickly sent me a patch to fix the problem. I've had a issue with training at the patch the go the instructions they sent are not the best. I believe I did each step properly just not kicking into the auto install mode. Overall I think the boxes are very good I am very happy.

I am quite pleased with the performance and value of this item. The live tv and video streaming is very good with crisp, clean audio and video. The interface is good and easy to use. The included wireless keyboard is very useful and a great alternative to the included remote. Plenty of memory/storage for most but support for additional TF card or USB storage is very nice. Network speeds were very good with WiFi and an ethernet connection. I have an Nvidia Shield TV Pro and a Fire Stick on different TV's and this slots somewhere in between them as far as features and performance. You get a lot for what you spend on this unit and I would highly recommend it.

* Comes pre-installed with most streaming apps and APKPure for gaming.
* Comes with 2 remotes 1 regular remote and the other is a mini keyboard. I am using the keyboard remote only.
* Keyboard remote is USB rechargeable.
* I plugged in an Ethernet cable and not get any issue with streaming speed.
* Planning to get IP tv app & VPN on this as my other android box to access content from across the world.

I have used Fire sticks for years and wanted something with more storage for apps and movies. This thing does not disappoint!! It comes pre-loaded with many popular apps. The remote is awesome, too! Definitely glad I got it! My only comaint is the lack of a home button and key for the @ symbol.

These two set-top boxes were terrible to say the least!! I tried both of them neither one of them loaded up they both tried to load up but nothing happened? Defective product I know this because I used to work at Circuit City. Lol really!

I had many issues trying to get it to log me into the google play store. It would keep spinning and never loading. I had to try several times before it finally did. I also had the same thing happen when I would click on settings. I ended up just returning it. I also found out xbox game pass will not run on it, neither will spectrum tv app.
