This is my second T95 box, this one with an updated Android version (10). First issue I found was that some Android Apps from Google Play that I wanted to install are reported as not compatible, even though the older box I got, accepted them without problems. I had to download the app to my laptop and later to my Android box, and lastly perform the installation. Fortunately the app works very well. The one most bothering issue for this box, is that you can turn it off with the remote, but it was not able to turn it on again. I have to unplug the box and plug it back again every time I want to turn it on: awful. Now I'll have to dive into the forums looking for a solution to this bug.
Positive things: the image quality is very good, the GUI has been improved in its appearance but nothing to make it remarkable, speed is fairly good.
I hope this feedback may be found useful by future customers. Regards.
I just finished setting up my new box. I was surprised by how small the box actually is. I do know I am going to need to purchase a keyboard. The manual really does not tell you much info at all. That said, if you have an Android Smartphone, then you have 1/2 the battle won. There are only a few preloaded apps, but Google Play Store App is raring to go to get you apps you want. I already am very impressed at clear the graphics are. I have Locast and I use Lenox Media Player. The clarity of both is amazing. I'm hoping for a long successful relationship with my new box. If there is any negative point, it is that the remote did not include batteries - takes 2 AAA - Only way to operate box is with remote. I think this is first time that batteries did not come with any remote.
I was skeptical about purchasing this box online but to my surprise it actually works. I will be ordering another one for my guest room
I can’t see why people love this thing. The answered questions say Disney+ can be downloaded. Not so, it doesn’t show up in Google Play. The remote has TV controls but cannot be programmed. I scoured the web and YouTube to figure it out. I can never get it into program mode. The chipset is no longer capable of being programmed for cost saving reasons, they just didn’t feel like removing the TV buttons. I found that by my search on the web. The manual is worthless. Voice recognition doesn’t work. But, it’s cheap, it will play TV stuff.
Less than 24 hours after receiving it, I’m returning it.
Got it today. Not a problem. All i had to do was hook up to internet no problem. Sign in . No problem. It liaded my app i bought it for. Works great. Select tv has to have 9.0 or 10.0. so this box is perfect. Hopefully i wont have any problems with the app when it has to be updated. i rilly like this little box so far. And tge remote works good to.
1. WI-FI connection randomly crashed, I had to disconnect it and reconnect it again and again. All my other devices have no such problem.
2. Very few apps available for installation. I couldn't find the app I watched on my Android tablet, like TennisChannel app.
3. Web browsers, Chrome or Firefox are extremely slow. It was like going back to dialup internet era.
The only thing worked was youtube for watching HD video when WiFi connection didn't crash...
They are so small and out of the way from all the other big appliances around the TV.
Love this product easy to install new apps like movie and show apps
