It took a while to figure out that this is the correct unit for the Dish Wally in our RV -- I had to sift through reviews to see if anyone else had used it with a Wally, so if you have a Wally, never fear, it worked great for us! It was as plug-and-play as it gets. We plugged it into the USB port, followed the directions that came with it and the on screen directions for set up, and voila, we were watching Netflix and had access to On-Demand in minutes via our T-Mobile hotspot! And now it's several months later and it is still working great, we have binge-watched multiple Netflix series. Couldn't be happier! It was a decent price as well, just had to be certain it was the same unit as the ones priced higher elsewhere.

We recently moved into an RV for the summer. I had Dish set up through a Tailgater. Unfortunately, i couldn't access any of the apps due to need for wifi. I used this adapter with the hotspot from a device and now have Netflix, Pandora, any of the apps available through Dish. It was so easy to set up and has continued to work well for the past week. So happy to have this available!

Tried various other brand wi fi dongles. No go. DISH makes it’s so you have to use theirs. Bought this pre owned on Amazon. Works great. Easy set up using hotspot from my phone.

This product labeled “Dish WiFi” resulted in the error message “You have connected an unsupported device to the USB port” and “the attached device is currently not supported by Dish Network” for ViP722k DVR Receiver. I ordered the same device from Amazon more than a year ago and it worked, but this adapter does NOT look like the device I had previously purchased.

Bought it to add wireless service to my DISH Wally receiver when traveling in my RV. After plugging it in to the USB port on the Wally, and powering up the receiver, the WiFi unit is detected and goes right to the setup screen to join it to a wireless network. Depending on the provided WiFi, streaming is good on the Wally for On Demand and apps.

It says it works with dish 722k reciever. Stick says dish network on it. Package was sealed and said "NEW". WOULD NOT WORK. Reciever says it's a unsupported device. Waste of time and money!

Directions if you need them: Plug it in to a USB port on the Dish receiver. If you have an external hard drive, you will need to use the front panel USB port which looks crappy (minus 1 star). On the remote hit menu | 6 | 1 | 9 | 1 (that's menu, system setup, installation, broadband setup, wireless setup); then just do them in order 1-4. The internal antenna is dinky and doesn't get a very strong connection (minus another star) but good enough if you are decently close to your router. The setup menu has an option for testing signal strength and the adapter comes with a long cable so you can move it around.

I wanted to be able to get movies on Demand and this was the answer. Dish wanted $25 plus $15 for shipping! I ordered it with my Prime account and saved $$. It hooked up easily, within about 5 min. I was ready to order my first movie!!
