Adapter did not work in either USB port of my Dish 722 DVR. Pop-up message on TV screen indicated that the device was not recognized. Adapter returned for refund.

Plugged it in and nothing happened. Called support at Dish Network to find out if you don't buy directly from them there is no support for units bought from other vendors. They did tell me that if it did not prompt a response from tv it was defective.
