I got this for my husband as a replacement for his GameBoy Advance, and it fits it perfectly! He added a piece of tape to keep it extra secure since he had several heartbreaking incidents of batteries popping out mid-game with his older, broken cover, but I really don't think it's necessary for this replacement.

The color was as stated (clear purple), but it also blends in surprisingly well with our clear gray GBA, which was a nice little thing.

There's not much more I can say-- it was exactly as described, came in a bit of bubble wrap to protect it from cracking during shipment, and does exactly what it should-- keeping batteries where they belong.

I was so tired of keeping electrical tape on the back of my gameboy just to hold the batteries in, so I finally caved and purchased this cover. It does exactly what I need it to do: hold the batteries in place.

I have had only a few very minor issues. The tab at the top isn't an entirely perfect fit for the Gameboy; it's a bit easier than I would like to remove the cover. I'll occasionally knock it off accidentally, but this only happens if I'm moving/transporting the device around a lot. It stays secure during gameplay, which is what I needed. Additionally, it is a bit more on the purple side than my actual Gameboy is, but this could be in part due to natural fading of the actual device. I will upload images later if I can.

I was a little worried that this wouldn't be the same color or would look cheap or it would be obvious that it was a replacement, but I was surprised. It for and he color matched and all is right with the Gameboy again!

it came broken so i have to tape it into my gameboy. pretty disappointed. i could have saved my 5 bucks instead of buying this faulty cover. used tape to hold it in place. for a cheap plastic cover i was willing to pay this amount of money but it came broken so now i feel cheated.

Very disappointed that the color is not even close to matching. I have the Glacier GBA and it’s a blueish clear color. This part is more purple tinted and very clear. Doesn’t really match at all. Also super tight fit, thought I broke the tab when I first put it on. 2/5 stars for me.

The little hinge part broke within a week. It's very dissapointing to have to use tape to keep the back on. This is the second one I bought from two different sellers. After market parts are just made cheap.

I needed a new battery cover for my gameboy advance. This did the job. I was tired of using tape to hold the old cover on. There is not much to say but it does the job.

It had one job to do...

Fit the back of the Game Boy Advance.. and it didn’t do it. Also, on the knob you push to remove the cover, has a sharp piece of plastic that wasn’t cut off all the way. Very unhappy with this purchase.
