Battery life seems great on this controller. It's at least on par with the official Switch Pro controller as far as I can tell. I've had this fully charged alongside a Pro controller, and my son and I took these fully charged controllers for a test drive. Pun intended - we started with Mario Kart 8. :)

We recently moved so we have things all over; in a way this is good because I didn't have a clear path between this controller and my Switch. I sit probably 12 feet from the TV and Switch, and I noticed as I was changing positions I would lose connectivity - I'd be turning by the kart wouldn't. It turns out that a plant which was in the way depending on where I sat was blocking enough signal to affect my driving in game. Once we moved the plant elsewhere, I didn't seem to have trouble.

At first, I thought the vibration is excessive; now, I find I don't mind the extra feedback. The one downside I've noticed is that while I drive in Mario Kart 8, the controller vibrates ALL THE TIME. It's minor, but noticeable. Of course, after I traded with my son so we could keep testing, I found that I missed the extra vibration while my son found it to be too much.

I also though there was a difference in weight between the two controllers (this one and the official), but not I really don't notice it. I'm sure there is a difference but it's negligible.

Overall, I think this is a good alternate controller if you want to have an extra or can't afford an official controller.

I have been using an PowerA controller for a while now, but I got sick of always swapping out rechargeable batteries and having to keep charging the batteries. With this controller, I can just plug it into any USB-C cable I have lying around, but I just use the USB port on my switch dock. Its a pretty standard controller but for the price, its really worth the investment.

Pros:
Battery - Easily lasts multiple sessions.
Charging - Charging with USB-C which I use for everything else so it fits in.
Set Up - It is basic setup with any controller for the switch which is super easy.
Turbo Mode - And old feature that should never be taken away.

Cons:

I got a couple new switch controllers at the same time (with the idea in my head that I would compare them, since I"m sick of my joycon drift) and this one is the clear winner. There's a button for pairing on the back, which was quite easy (relative to the other methods some controllers used, like obscure key combinations).

Battery life is excellent, and the vibration motor is pretty good. It does feel a little bit lightweight - but if you want I'm sure you could open it up and put some lead in it. The buttons all work well, it responds to the switch "search for controller" stuff (if it's on), and it CAN wake up the switch from sleep. The joysticks work well, it feels good in my hands, and it wasn't terribly expensive.

The turbo button is interesting - you press a button (say, A) then press turbo, and it seemed to "toggle" turbo for that button - so now, even after releasing A, it just kept max-speed pressing it for me. Press A and turbo again to toggle off. That worked a lot better than the turbo modes I've seen on other controllers - not that I'd use turbo, because that is (of course) cheating. Mmhm. Neeeever gunna do that.

No complaints here - it's all around good for the price. Of course some things could be improved - nicer grip (comfier, better material), more premium less plasticy feel, but for the price it's (in my opinion) unbeatable.

This controller has long battery life I have charge it only once and has last me for more than 18 hours, it’s worth it’s price although one of the thing that I can say that the hard plastic of the controller makes feel very empty, although have vibration it’s a very general that there’s an overwhelming sensation after playing the a regular pro controller, there’s no lag when playing, turbo doesn’t feel like does much but it does work for some games, a good controller if you don’t want to expend too much on original controllers.

This controller is the perfect size for my hands and was easy to use and set up. It charges quickly and seems to hold its charge for a long amount of time. For this price this controller is amazing and I would highly recommend it.

This controller handles very well. The vibration works very good but appears to only have 2 settings - either full vibration or no vibration at all. Overall, it’s a good controller, and the person it was bought for approved of it

I bought this controller to play with switch. It works well with quick responsiveness and did not delay at all. I charge one time and could last more than 6hours. It comes with detailed user manual and one usb cable. Although not thick enough, it is light and I will not feel tired when playing games.

Great for the price!! I was worried the controller would feel cheap because how inexpensive it was but no worries, it’s as big as a PS4 controller and feels just as sturdy. Very happy with the product, great replacement for the original controllers the switch comes with!!!

Nachdem wir zu 4. in der Familie bisher mit den normalen Joy-Cons gespielt hatten, waren wir nun auf der Suche nach einem Controller, der besser in der Hand liegt und auch eine ordentliche Größe hat.
Die Joy-Cons sind für meinen Geschmack (vielleicht liegt es auch daran, dass ich nicht so kleine Hände habe wie meine Kinder) etwas unhandlich. Ich habe gerne beim spielen einen richtigen Controller in der Hand und nicht so ein halbes Teil. Wir hatten zwar für die Joy-Cons auch einen Halterung gekauft, in die man die Joy-Cons einklicken kann, aber das war auch nicht wirklich der Hit.
Nach einigem suchen bin ich dann bei diesem Controller hier gelandet. Ich muss gestehen, wenn ich mir etwas kaufe, lese ich selten die Gebrauchsanleitung, da die meisten Dinge oft selbsterklärend sind - Learning by Doing, dies hat mir hier allerdings nicht weitergeholfen ;)
Unsere bisherigen Joy-Cons schalten sich automatisch ein nachdem man irgendeinen Knopf gedrückt hat, was allerdings auch schon oft zu versehentlichem Einschalten geführt hat, wenn die Dinger in der Schublade liegen - wollte man dann damit spielen, waren Sie oft leer durch das ständige versehentliche Ein- und Ausschalten.
Genau, das kann euch mit diesem Controller nicht passieren. Als ich den Controller bekommen hatte, habe ich ihn natürlich erst mal ordnungsgemäß aufgeladen. Nachdem dies geschehen war und ich den Controller testen wollte, habe ich wie bisher gewohnt einfach kurz einen Knopf gedrückt, worauf ich feststellen musste............ dass nichts passiert, kein Blinken, kein Licht oder sonst was. Zuerst dachte ich, dass ich den Controller nicht lange genug aufgeladen hätte aber als auch dies ausgeschlossen werden konnte dachte ich schon er wäre kaputt.
Ich habe mir dann doch nochmal die Gebrauchsanleitung angeschaut und so erfuhr ich dann Wie man den Controller denn richtig einschaltet ;D Hier funktioniert es nämlich nicht, einfach nur "irgendeinen" Knopf zu drücken - sondern hier muss man erst mal für ein paar Sekunden den "Home-Button" drücken um den Controller eben erst mal einzuschalten, danach funktioniert das Pairing mit der Konsole wie gewohnt.

Das Gewicht des Controllers ist ok, die Größe passt auch, er liegt prima in der Hand, eine Vibrationsfunktion ist auch vorhanden. Die Turbo Funktion habe ich allerdings bisher noch nicht genutzt, von daher kann ich leider dazu nichts sagen.

Controller, USB-Ladekabel und Anleitung auch in deutsch

Der Controller macht einen wertigeren Eindruck als die Nintendo Controller ohne Vibrationsmotor. Er ist kompakter und liegt wesentlich besser in der Hand als das klobige Originalgerät. Der Controller hat fast alles, was ein richtiger Switchcontroller auch hat. Meine Couch hat ungefähr 3m Luftlinie zur Konsole. In dieser Konfiguration habe ich keinerlei Verzögerungen oder gar Verbindungsabbrüche. Der Akku hält auch sehr lange. Ich hatte bis jetzt niemals die Situation, das dem Gerät während einer Session die Luft ausging (Ich schaue zu dir, Sony).
Einziges Manko ist, daß man mit dem Controller nicht die Konsole einschalten kann. Wer auf dieses Feature verzichten kann, der bekommt hier für 1/3 des Investments einen hochwertigen und zuverlässigen Controller!

 Hab den Controller ausgepackt an der Switch angeschlossen und war binnen Sekunden verbunden. Hab damit auch schon mehrere Runden Mario Kart gespielt und muss sagen, dass ich bisher noch keine Probleme mit dem Controller hatte.

Auch die Handhabung ist einfach. Nur reinstecken, dann fangen die Lichter an zu blinken und sobald man dann das Kabel entfernt ist der Controller auch schon verbunden.

Also Er erfüllt alles was ich an Anforderungen gestellt habe und das auch noch für wenig Geld.

Da das Negative leider überwiegt, will ich es auflisten. Es scheint ein generelles Problem zu sein.
- Der Controller geht nach ca. 10 min. Nichtbenutzung aus. Das ist bei den Nintendo Joycons anders, viel länger. Eigentlich sollten alle Controller dieselbe Zeit verwenden
- Man kann die Switch über diesen Controller nicht einschalten (HOME-Taste), vermutlich weil er die Verbindung im Standby trennt
- Nach dem Einschalten der Switch über den rechten Joycon funktionieren im laufenden Spiel zwar die Tasten des ECHTPOWER, aber die Sticks nicht. Ich muß jedesmal in die Systemeinstellungen der Switch gehen und den Controller quasi neu anmelden.
- Der Controller sieht auf den Bilder aus, als wäre er gummiert. Dabei ist es alles nur Plastik.
- Man kann die Funktion von A/B und X/Y nicht per Schalter vertauschen (sollten alle Nicht-Nintendo-Controller haben), was aber zum Glück über die Controllereinstellungen der Switch geht. Diese ständige Umdenken von PS4 und XBox ist nervig. Nintendo hat seinen Kunden damit keinen Gefallen getan, die Tasten zu vertauschen.

Ich habe den 2019er Controller und er funktioniert bis Heute tadellos, der Akku hält immer noch ewig und nichts ist lose.

Da ich noch einen zweiten wollte da ich in letzter Zeit häufig im Coop spiele habe ich mir wieder einen "Echtpower" bestellt.

Hier wird von "2020 Edition" gesprochen.
Aber der Controller ist meiner Meinung nach identisch mit dem Alten. er sieht identisch aus, die Druckpunkte und Federstärker aller Tasten und Trigger sind absolut gleich und die Verpackung ist identisch.

Die Einzigen Unterschiede sind folgende:
Der Sticker auf der Rückseite hat ein anderes Design (Der Controller hat aber trotzdem die gleiche Modellnummer/Seriennummer!)
Die Verpackung ist auf der innenseite nicht mehr in Schwarz sondern nur noch die Pappe selbst.

Trotzdem bekommt man für das Geld hier zwei Controller und man kann anstelle von zwei Pro Controllern zwei von denen hier kaufen und hat Geld über für ein Spiel.
