I'm very impressed. I recently started playing a few of my old n64 games through an emulator and this gives me a great experience without digging out the n64 from the basement and plugging it into our tv. I do scratch my head a little with the "rumble pack" slot though since the slot is there but there are no electronics inside it. Don't expect to hook any old rumble packs or anything into this controller.

Works great! Plug it into the USB port with a (legal!) Nintendo 64 emulator and you can relive childhood memories. Only four stars because the controller seems bit flimsier than the original Nintendo units, but that doesn't affect my gameplay experience.

I received this controller on Thursday, August 25th. It was fine and worked as expected. I only used this controller for light gaming and didn't overuse it at all, and the center joystick just BROKE OFF only four days later. For the price of this controller, I'd expect more than four days' use out of it. I'm sending it back tomorrow for a refund. DO NOT BUY.

So I bought this controller to play n64 mods on my computer with the actual n64 controller, and it worked well.

Compared to a real n64 controller, it is a bit lighter and the buttons have a more clicky feel to them. This does not affect gameplay. The joystick is probably what feels the cheepest (if you look at it, you can see it was not made in one piece), but I completed a rom with this controller without getting any issue. Maybe be gentle with the joystick if you're worried, but mine was fine.

There is a hole where the gamepack would be, which I'm not sure is a great idea because of dust, but since it is under the controller, I don't really see dust getting all the way in there.

All in all, it looks really great, functions really well and the price is really good. If you want better than this, you'll have to get an adapter with an official controller instead.
