At first I did not like this game. It is very fast paced, incorporates a ton of different moves and weapons and styles and is really a lot to take in. However, once I got the hang of it, I really enjoyed it. It is an open world game that lets you go and explore anywhere and do side missions as you please. Even though the game play in no way resembles an RPG, it reminds me of one because there are so many weapons, weapons badges, overdrives, amps, and traps, that you can equip to your player and different ones are better for different situations. While it can get repetitive with some of the missions, the game itself is pretty funny and once you get used to everything, it is actually pretty fun. I spent my first play through just learning everything and then went back and played it again and it was a lot of fun being able to kick butt from the very beginning.

Wow what a game this is. I'm a casual gamer and mostly use my Xbone as a video player for Blu-ray, DVD and webflix. I'll play a little here and there but am rarely fully immersed in a game, and usually I'll play an hour or so into a game and then never finish it and never go back to it.

My favorite thing is that this is a HUGE open world. There's always something to discover and a task to do, so if you get stuck on one thing, you can still leave it and go work on something else. It really reminds me of how Tony Hawk was back in the day, how you could just run all over and do whatever you wanted and go wherever you wanted (that's how I remember it, anyway). And it really feels like you're on a skateboard without actually having one, because you can grind or do tricks off of basically anything solid, you bounce around like a rubber ball. You never sit still. You can't just stand around or you'll get torn to pieces. You literally have to always be moving once you put a few hours into the game.

I like how it doesn't take itself too seriously, because when games do that, that fall into being clones of other games, same plot, different characters, and that always bores me. This is truly something altogether different than anything I've played and it is totally unique and as unforgettable as any game can be. I will remember this game. And I sure hope there is a sequel!

The weapons are silly yet effective and fun to use. Like you only have a couple of basic, run-of-the-mill weapons. All the other weapons are made of totally random parts, like explosive teddy bears, a fireworks gun, an acid gun, etc. It's very cartoon-ish yet they're very effective. The outfits you can buy are really funny, like there's a unicorn outfit, pimp hat, etc. Just really colorful and it adds to the game as much as an outfit can.

I wish the main story was longer but even after beating the main story, I still have things to do that can continue play. I'd say it took 15-25 hours of play time. I don't focus just on the main tasks. I like to explore and complete collections and do the side quests. This game isn't easy. Like the main bosses are very difficult, but not impossibly difficult even for a casual gamer. I think it's still difficult enough for a gamer of any experience level.

So this is one of the best games I've ever played. Definitely the best I've played on Xbone, and definitely the most unique game I've ever played. This is a must have. It's in my top 5, easily.

Another gift for my son. He only played it for a couple of hours, but the reaction was that it got too repetitive. I'm pretty sure that is the type of game it's supposed to be (i.e. - you get past the intro then you can choose various missions to complete throughout a relatively open world) He says the missions are too similar for him and has not played it since Christmas. I often watch him play his games and I would agree. Graphics were good, in-game conversations were relatively funny and/or informative. Overall, I would probably not recommend this to a serious gamer unless you just want a game where you constantly go and kill the same things over and over to test your ability.

I have never been so instantly repelled by a game in my life. I really don't think I've seen a game more transparently pandering to the younger generation than this hunk of garbage. I really could not stand more than about a half hour. It claims to be an open world where you decide what to do and when to do it, but right from the start it had you do a forced tutorial rather than let you find out on your own how the mechanics work. It's loaded to the brim with cringe inducing......everything. You want an irreverent, off the wall, bonkers game that has actual substance to it? Play any of the Saints Row games. Play inFamous, play Prototype, play anything that is not this. This was painful. Avoid like the plague

As with all of my video games I haven't had much time to play this one, but I'll say I've really enjoyed the time I have put into this game!! Easy and fun character creation with plenty of neat options and super fun game play - you can jump and run and slide on practically everything and it has some of the most ridiculous guns I've seen in a game, right off the bat. Goofy plot and characters make for a fun time.

Technically, I would give this game 4 1/2 out of 5 stars. I would give it a full 5 had it not been for a couple of cut scenes near the end that froze up.

Overall this game is beautiful, and the attitude of your character (along with the others) is hilarious. There are a lot of things to go around collecting, so even when you're done with the main storyline you still have other objectives.

I was skeptical buying this game, and honestly didn't believe I would love it as much as I do. That being said, buy it! You'll laugh and have loads of fun!

P.s. For parents wondering about profanity and gore: it does have an option to cut BOTH off.

Fun, adventures, action packed, hours of game play, character editing, gun/weapon upgrades, crazy character outfits, and most importantly amazing graphics! Definitely a 5 star experience! If you are looking for a game that is action packed and has endless hours of game play, well then you came across the perfect game for you! Enjoy

I love this game so much. It's probably one of my favorites for the xbox one that I've played so far. It's very action packed yet lighthearted and the dialogue is hilarious. I also love how you are able to customize your character whenever you feel like it. (Also note that you can change the gender of your character by visiting Calista, you don't have to restart your game)
