description says “certified refurbished “, far from it unless someone ordered the original and returned their broken dirty set. headphones have ear hair and dandruff all on them, left mic port doesnt hold the mic, right mic port doesnt work. very disappointed. ill be returning these and buyin hopefully a new sealed pair

just buy it brand new already returned mine it was all dirty and didn’t even turn on trust me I know what I was doing I did everything correctly it’s not worth the money. I got some Astro a50s ran me 300 dollars but only payed a little because they gave me my money back from this crappy junk. I do recommend the Astro a50 they are very comfortable mic quality is good very nice headset.

Was hesitant to buy refurbished, especially something like this but took the plunge. The headset is wonderful but as they came...they're really expensive headphones. Everything was included, all the cables, even the manual. The only thing missing was the detachable boom mic. Kind of important for a headset wouldn't you say? I called amazon support immediately and they confirmed that the product was legitimate so that was nice, and Astro sells the mic of course but when the marketing says all pieces are included...there's kind of expectation. Oops.

Bought these against my own better judgement because I hate buying used electronics, but I’m very very surprised. Came with the brand new box, all the cables, directions, warranty card, ect. in 100% perfect condition. Could not be happier

The headphones had hair on the foam pieces, some small scratches on the headphone bar, stickiness pn the box however the worst was the gunk on the gold speaker mouth piece, i sanitized it and cleaned it off. It is a gift soni do not know yet jow they work, will up date later

When you get a working refurbished model that has all parts and works it’s good. I’ve had Astro’s in the past and the sound for gaming and non gaming is hard to compete with. The problem is amazons reform process. Is there any testing of the product done? Probably not. First headset I got had some marks which is understandable since refurb, but it didn’t have a mic or the required 3.5mm cord specific to Astro headsets. The replacement the right ear piece did not work so audio only came out of the left ear. The mix amp it comes with is great. If you have patients to work with amazon to get a fully functioning headset with all cables (optic cord, mic, power cord, working earpiece) it’s a good value but and saves you $75. If you don’t have the patients just buy brand new from Astro. This model is a couple years old based on the mix amp but is not a step back as they have the same features. I’m happy I got a working headset and amazon customer service was quick to get me a replacement. 3/5 stars due to not getting all the correct parts the first time. A bit better inspection of the products before sending them out could have been a 4 or 5/5.

I received this and while it was packaged fine upon setting up I noticed that the chat cable was sticky. It was also shipped with a extra cord I wasn't sure what it went to. Everytime I unplugged it to move it I ran into microphone shortages as if it had a short in the cord that plugged into the headset itself.

Great product but I shouldn't impulse buy. Sorry for the inconvenience

As the title states. They didn’t tape the box closed on the sides. When I opened the package, as other have stated there was no microphone, but mine didn’t have the mic amp either. Very disappointed.

Update as of 06/20/2020:

The company sent me out the missing mixamp and mic. I was super excited to finally use it, and the first game with friends they told me it was way to loud (make sure to check your mic level on your PS4 to fix) which I fixed promptly. After a game or two, they told me it now was crackling and sounding crazy. Sure enough, it turns out the cable that goes from the headphone to the mixamp has a short in it. I've decided at this point I should only buy this type of item brand new. I was hesitant to try this because of headphones and used don't go well together. I should of gone with my gut!

El producto funciona exelentemente bien pero la caja no estaba sellada. y pareciera que el articulo estaba usado, como si fuera el de exhibicion. Sin ebargo la calidad de audio y usabilidad es perfecta. Tuve que devolver el articulo, ya que la diadema no funcionaba ni del lado derecho ni el izquierdo. Aclaro que el audio funcionaba muy bien. Pero cuando probe el microfono no me escuchaban mis amigos en el videojuego.

Got my headset and rushed upstairs to play only to find out the optical cord was missing. Dissapointed with spending this kind of money only to have stuff missing thats suppose to be included

Right speaker is broken. Very disappointing.

Love the sound quality, sounds like surround sound in your head. I use this headset with my ps4 and it's great.
