I added this 80 meter coil to my Super Antenna about a month ago. I am in a very restricted area and wanted to join a net on 75 meters that meets early in the morning. Let's face it fellow hams, no shortened 80 meter antenna is going to do a great job. However, the coil does work and I am able to communicate with most of the guys. Would I rather have a G5RV senior antenna in the air? Of course, but that is not possible here. I can put this antenna up on my back deck in 4 minutes or less. I have the super antenna on an old camera tripod and have added a 1/4 wave (about 64 feet) radial that runs through the flower bed. I use only one radial. I also run about 15 feet of #10 wire to a ground rod. I wan't about to bury 8 or 10 64 foot radials in the ground. I hope this helps you make a decision.

Works great for 75 or 80 meters. Be clear, with this installed on your SuperAntenna, you can only use it for these two bands. You have to remove it completely to use the Superantenna for 40 meters and down. Just an FYI. Very well made.

Works like a charm with added 75/80 meter radials.

Works as advertised. Meets my need for my outdoor antenna project.
