I just received this today - June 5th 2018. It looks beautiful. It comes with an extra wire, incase one of the others break. I bought this for my Suunto Traverse. I had to remove the pins from my suunto silicone band and change them with the pins that came with this band. The pins with this band have a small lever that allows easier pinching, yet it gets in the way when removing the pin altogether. I changed the pins out because the Suunto pin, was slightly longer and thicker, and fit perfectly in its original place. Once the pins were replaced, and this band was put on my watch, I am completely amazed by the increase in comfort over the silicone band that comes with the watch.

This band is a little thicker and the holes are little harder to get the band pin through, but well worth the price of the band, and well worth the comfort increase. I will update this rating if I need to. However, for the price of the band, its worth it if it only lasts a year. I replaced the silicone band, because the black silicone was turning white from sweat, but more importantly it was sticky, and kept pinching at my arm hair and skin. With any band, its important to clean it periodically with mild soap and water, and air dry before use. I love the army green and black contrast of this band. 10 thumbs up so far.....yes I know I just started using it, but its a watch band, maybe it will break in and stretch alittle with use, but that will only add to the comfort I am sure.

It fit the traverse perfectly, as if it was made for it, it was the exact same size of the silicone band.

I was hesitant to buy this band (bracelet) since you never know what kind of quality you'll get. So, the band was delivered within 24 hours and took a moment to install. The band also came with a small tool that's used to remove/install the band pins. The included band pin has a small tab on the backside of the band that allows the pin to be removed even easier. I couldn't believe how nice the band fit on my Casio Protrek PRG-600Y! The material used for the band seems to be 1000 denier Cordura and the band is about a 1/4 thick and isn't flimsy. They sewed two layers of Cordura together to give it a thicker band which of course makes it more durable under tough conditions. When you start using the band on your watch it'll be tough to get it secured in the band clasp but after a few times it softens up just enough. I'm a US Army Infantryman Senior NCO and I don't buy or wear junk that'll fail in a heartbeat! The band also breaths better due to it being a fabric band instead of a silicone type that often gets sweaty.
I advise that you make sure you order the right size since there's all kinds of sizes for upper end ABC watches. And yes, the black portion on the band is real leather (I used the smell test to verify, lol.) and not some cheap fake leather. In my case, the band fit perfectly (24mm) and there was no end gap either. I plan on buying a couple more for my other watches. I think they also make this same band (bracelet) in all black which would be great as well. Hope this helps someone, especially fellow Grunts!

First off the English on the thank you letter is horrendous. Secondly the pins are not the correct length. Now I have to buy different pins so they can be replaced with the ones that came with the band. The attached picture shows the smaller pin that came with the band and the larger pin that belongs to the suunto traverse. Can easily loose the watch if you keep the smaller pin on the band.

The retaining pins with the band are not sturdy and frequently release. Looks to be poor design with the canvas touching the pin lever.

About once a day in use, the watch bad simply falls off the watch. So far, I have managed to catch the watch each time.

Purchasing a different band, one specific for the Suunto watch, and hopefully will have better results.

This was wayyyy to big for my watch even tho it was listed as being able to fit it.

Update: The company contacted me to send me a smaller band. Which was great. Aside from the fact they wouldn't stop harrassing me to update my review. I haven't even worn the band to know if it's good quality yet. So I'm only giving 4 stars. Especially since nearly nothing is perfect. And since they were encumbersome.

I bought this for my brand new Luminox. I love the Luminox watches but not fond of their rubber or plastic bands. This works perfect! Matches the tactical look too! Thick but not uncomfortable. Excellant product!

I love this strap. I have one on my Infantry watch and have little complaints. I like the quick change feature making it easy to take on and off which you will definitely want to do often which brings me to my one problem with this strap. It starts to stink after awhile with normal day to day wear. But so long as you clean it before it gets to ripe ( I throw mine in a sock so I don't loss it in the washer and let it air dry) you will be happy with it.

Outstanding band! Far better than the stock band on my Glycine. Looks great, very comfortable, and appears to be durable.

Better than expected,perfect fit, rugged and looks awesome on my Suunto Core Red Devil.. Highly recommended
