I was really looking forward to getting this item but I am extremely disappointed. I bought the black with red stitching band and within less then 60 days the red stitching fell apart. The leather band is okay it’s really only the red stitching that failed very quickly. If it was not red on black you would not see it mind you, but in my case you really see it. I ended up buying a different brand and ended up pitching this band in the garbage.

This band looks nice, fit well, I liked that the clasp was black but after only a month or so of normal wear (no water, no working out, etc) the color is scratching off already as u can see in the picture

What arrived is not at all what is described and pictured. I have attached a picture of the RUBBER watch band that arrived. The description and picture indicated I would receive a black LEATHER band with RED STITCHING. Instead, the band that arrived is black on the outside and red on the inner portion (see attached picture).

I’ve had Barton bands for my automatic watches before and was not let down.

That said, what happened in the packaging here? Look at the bottom band, it’s protruding from the watch. What’s going on with quality control?

Update 8/11/2020: I contacted Barton through multiple venues and they have sent me two new brackets that are easily attachable to the bands. If you’re familiar with their product (re: quick detach; I have this same band for an automatic watch), the brackets come off and on easily. Now with the correct size bracket, the watch looks great with the band. In fact they sent two replacement brackets that actually fit better than the ones originally shipped which call into question the quality of all of the Apple brackets. But that said, very happy with the purchase. Will update review to 4/5 stars with a new image.

Nice strap. I have a larger wrist size (8”) and this just about fit. Could do with one more hole and an additional ½” inch on the strap length for guys sizing. Good quality though and still my favorite non apple strap.

The Barton Apple Watch bands are excellent. The leather is of good quality, and look very nice. The sizing is great — I have a small wrist, and am able to get a good fit without cutting additional holes, as I have to do with some other leather bands. I now have a blue one an a black with orange stitching. Love them both, and will probably get one or two more.

I've purchased several watchbands from Barton for regular watches, and have enjoyed all of them. This is my first band for an Apple Watch. It was exactly as described, good quality (soft) and is an excellent value compared with other bands I've bought.

The band is very good looking, and priced reasonably. Seems to be well made and stitched well. However, the leather is very stiff, and it's really hard to put it on and take it off. Makes me worry about cracking from repeated on/off action. Hopefully it will become more pliable with use.
