I've purchased several Anker products in the past and all have been well designed, worked well, and lasted me a while.. same goes for this cable but I did encounter one issue that is a little worrisome when plugging it into a 1k phone.. The cable requires me to use quite a bit of force when connecting/disconnecting from phone port.. first time I've encountered this issue when any of there cables so hopefully it was just a defect.. I've reached out to anker so we will see what they say.. will update review once I hear back. As of right now, I will hold off on using it as I do not want to damage port. ****review update Anker customer service went out of there way to contact me and address my issue. They sent there 6ft cable instead and so far I have not experienced the same issue. Thanks anker

Purchased this item in February and have been using it trouble free for several months. Two days ago I plugged my phone in and within a few seconds the cord became extremely hot and burned me. I tried a different phone and charger and did the same. I've purchased several anker products and I even recommend them to friends and coworkers. I really feel this is just a bad cable and doesn't necessarily represent their quality. However my home could have burned down or I could have been seriously hurt. So I'm leaving this review. Truth be told, I will probably buy another anker cable to replace this because normally their products are well manufactured. But it's hard to pull the trigger again.

rerated to 5 stars : thickness aside - what's critical is it charges... in this case the usb c connector tip fits firmly into the device to ensure charging i ordered an Amazon basics brand cable hoping to find something thinner but the C tip is so loose and charging drops off the. moment you accidental touch device - so it's back to anker Old 3 star comment : I have been buying anker cables for several years for its consistency and quality.... i have at least 5 others... this particular usb C 10 ft cable is of quality but the cable is so thick, stiff and heavy as compared to the others I have (and the 2 x 6ft I ordered at same time) that I am a little overwhelmed how to carry this on ammy business trips and plug into loose plug points am wondering if the wire inside will break after time....

I've always been a big fan of Anker, my go to product for my phones. I did this because of its reputation and good experience with some of the products I bought from them. But I gotta wake up being a fan boy and acknowledge that I've had lots of disappointment with Anker product. This 10ft cable charges my new Note10+ very slow, it can't even keep up with the battery drain when I'm watching YouTube or play a game. I know that the problem is not with the charger, because it works well when I use another cable to charge. I've also noticed that this 10ft Anker cable is much thinner than the same 10ft Anker cable that I bought last year. This tells me that Anker has lowered the quality of their cables (thinner copper wires?).

These Anker cables have been the best cables we ever bought, they last and seem to snap into the phones and devices with ease and charge fast. The cable is long and stretches across the length of the bed to my work desk in my bedroom, the cable is strong, thick braid on the cable, and the ends are strong and don't break like normal thin cables. Pros. 1. Long Length 2. A strong cable that can take some punishment 3. Works great with my Samsung Galaxy S9 plus 4. Bright Red so you can't lose it (lol) 5. Great warranty and customer service Cons. Haven't had any issues with this cable yet to be a con! I'll keep you updated on the status of my cable, I'm a IT tech and gamer and been known to put cables threw hell!

I have a young child and that makes us really hard on things. That said, these hold up to abuse better than the rest. They are better than everything I have gotten from apple. They work

I bought this cable for a 2017 12 inch MacBook. I just got it used so yes I am a little bit late to the USB-C world. So I bought this cable to use with my 50 W USB charger since the MacBook charger is 30 W I was sure it would be enough. Well what they don’t tell you is the MacBook will charge extremely slowly over a USB a to USB C cable. If you try to use a MacBook with this cable plugged in the MacBook will still drain battery and it took 12 hours overnight to charge to 100% while I asleep Today I will be returning this and I have already ordered an anker powerline USB-C to USB-C for my MacBook. This should be made clear on the item description instead of saying it works with macbook.

Very well made compared to older models. The thick cloth lining seems very promising for longevity and strength and the cord is very long for far away outlets. The cord also has a Velcro strap that can be used to coil or wrap the cord into a bundle for storage and portability. I am rating this cord a 10/10. I have purchased Anker products before and have always been extremely satisfied with their products and they are constantly working to improve their products.

Got this as advised by Amazon customer service for alternative Oculus Link Cable...doesn't work... Don't buy it for Oculus Link.

Bought it to connect my Oculus quest to the laptop, but it seams this cable is not compatible with oculus link as it is not usb 3.0 Oculus suggests to buy the Anker Powerline cable for the Quest Oculus link connection, but the Powerlin+ is not compatible.

cable will now only charge very slowly and is showing signs of damage around the ends despite light usage

Have already got micro-USB and Apple lightning Anker cables and they are lasting well. This has higher current capability for USB C and is reasurringly robust.

It's an Anker cable so you know that it is going to be a good product. I like having a 3m/10ft cable to charge my phone so that I am not restricted to where I plug in the mains charger. I use it with my OnePlus and although it doesn't support OnePlus' Dash Charge, it still charges very quick anyway. I would definitely recommend this.

A very nice quality lead that gives me the extra length for using with my iPad Pro whilst charging.
