With KINGTOP 3.5mm 2 Male To Female Stereo Audio Extension Cable - You Can Easily Plug In Your Stereo Headset (Audio And Microphone) On A Computer That Has Separate Audio Ports And Microphone.
Big fan of Hyper-X gaming headsets, but the headphone/mic pigtail cord so long, it always proved cumbersome. Inevitably, I would accidentally roll over it with my rolling chair or otherwise get tangled/crush it as I use the Mic infrequently.
This product is simple and efficient. I have been using it for more than 2 months and have not found any drop off in quality of sound or microphone in that time, despite multiple times where I pulled the cable out of my desktop from backing away. The clearly labeled microphone and audio jacks make it easy to put back into your computer if you accidentally remove it. I play many online games such as overwatch, and talking with others on discord, so it was great to find a product which helped me talk without having to buy a separate microphone for my headphones.
Had to get this because I got new headphones with a mic built in for use at work, but everything except for my laptop expected a headphone 1/8" and music would not play.
This works fine, and was what we needed. It is well made.
Was able to hook up my earbuds with mic to my computer to chat with friends. Works as expected.
Using this to plug into a headset and microphone hole on PC(front panel of case but probably could also be used on the back where the motherboard is). Then I can plug a regular headphone into it. Can't comment on the quality of mic and sound, I have nothing to compare it with, but it works. The splitter cable looks high quality, so even though it is sort of hanging from my front panel, I think it will last.
I work overnight and game on a laptop when things are slow. I wanted to be able to use my iPhone headphones on the laptop and this worked perfectly for me. Solid build. Very satisfying and secure *click* when plugged in. I'm not sure Why I wasn't able to before but I can now use Skype, talk in-game, and record videos, all with the audio from my in-ear headphones. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing the same functionality.
the cable is exactly what's stated and pictured. It's a splitter for a TRSS like mini jack to be able to split into mic and headset portions. The small headset and mic pictures on the plugs and are color coded as well. The ends look quality, the cables are rubberized and flat which i thought were weird at first but overall looks pretty quality. So far i only tried the headset portion, will report back if the mic portion doesn't work with this, but overally it should work. My computer detected the input and i selected mic for it so i think it's all good to go. Anyways for the price 5 stars for now.
