I really like this car bracket. There are two magnets in the accessory kit, one of them is rectangular, the other is round. I have seen in their FAQ that there is a rectangular magnet which is suitable for small mobile phones and round ones for heavy-weight mobile phones. My wife's mobile phone iPhone6s uses the rectangular magnet, I use around magnet for my mobile phone iPhonexsmax. And its magnetic force is strong, my mobile phone is very stable on it. highly recommended. |
I have tried so many phone mounts that have failed in the end. I live in a place outside tempature can reach 120 degrees in the summer. Inside the car can easily reach over 200. You grab the metal part of your seat belt it’s a 3rd degree burn. Needless to say the plastic phone holders have all warped and failed. This one is aluminum which for me is it’s bigest selling point. I did not use the magnet plate for the phone that came with it I upgraded to a 3m metal plate for the same reason a larger rectangle style my phone has not dropped a single time even going off road in my older pathfinder. I have an extra heavy 8500mha battery case on iPhone 7 Plus so phone weights a ton so that is saying something. |
Just several months ago I bought car phone holder at Target and it already broke! It had silicone suction cup and after being suctioned to hot glass window it stopped getting attached!
