To be honest, I didn't buy this to attach to my vent. I just wanted the part that holds the phone. I have a mount specifically designed for my Jeep and, one of the jaws that grab the phone broke. Those mounts aren't cheap so, I took a chance that the ball mount was the same size and, it is. It holds my phone just as well, if not better.

I bought this for my wife so she could use her phone as a GPS while driving without having to look down at it while driving. It clips easily to the vent and works well as long as you clip it to a good spot on the vent. Also, the middle of the phone should be the part that is clipped or it will fall down. It is a great product that I have started using too and it was one of the cheapest I could find. Very impressed!

Works great in my Toyota pickup truck which has circular vents. Most vent phone holders aren’t compatible with these types of vents. This one is!! The tightness of the clip is adjustable which allows for a secure fit on the vent. The spring and tacky rubber sides hold the phone securely. I have an iPhone 8 with an Otterbox case and there is plenty of room for it.

I was sure this would be a waste of money, but I am very pleasantly surprised. It holds my phone - in a silicone case - very firmly on potholed roads, installs easily and tightens to keep the phone at a precise angle. It's a little awkward in that you turn the ring one direction to tighten the vent grip, and in the opposite direction to tighten the swivel socket. I can never remember which is the correct way for which. I like that it is small, not too much plastic, not too bulky. Definitely recommend this one. I use a small phone, btw, a galaxy S4 mini.

I bought this for a phone mount that is already installed for a Mini 2019. The mount did not fit for the new larger iPhones. Bought this one to use with the one installed. It fit perfectly. As for the clip itself did not use.

This phone holder has a super grip on my vents and the sliding arm is easy to fit my iPhone 11 pro into. Highly recommended! One of my best phone accessory purchases ever!

I love how it stay secure and looks very subtle and minimal when clipped into my air vent. When it comes to locking into my air vent, it’s tight enough. Only minor issue is that the screw cap is a bit big so you can’t really tighten it to the max. Compared to the other products I’ve used, this is good for something so small. Best thing I like though is that you can change to landscape mode easily.

Nice one , very sturdy , don’t block the car vents , keeps the phone away from hot/cold air from the vents . My phone used to shutdown in winter while it was at the vent due to heat .

Does everything I need it to do. My previous one did not have a locking feature and fell off the air vent a few times. This one is perfect.
