Ordered the AT&T unlocked version, but came in as a sprint phone. These are not compatible as it states on this page. To make matters worse it came in without the SIM card holder, so if it was the AT&T phone I still am unable to use it. HOW DOES THIS GET THROUGH THE CERTIFIED INSPECTION?

Phone arrived in perfect condition despite being a "renewed" model. True to the product description this phone (the GSM unlocked version was purchased) did work with my Google FI sim however it is important to note that this phone is an ATT model phone, loaded with ATT's own OS version. As such, if you're getting this expecting an unlocked model (ie the LMV405QA7 model) you're going to be disappointed. Since the phone I received was actually the ATT model (V405UA which gsmarena lists as the Sprint, ATT, and Verizon model) you will be stuck with outdated software on the phone and no way to update unless you're on ATT's network. You'll also be stuck with all of ATT's preloaded bloatware and no way of removing the majority of it. This was a deal breaker for me. The OS on the phone was Android 8.1 and I was unable to find any way to update this to a more modern version of the OS. The bootloader is locked and ATT does not publish their OTA patches for manual installation. To be clear, the phone works as intended and depending on your needs it may be perfectly fine but you will be unable to receive OTA updates for new OS versions or even security updates. I take issue with the way the phone is listed on this page at it does not make it clear this is a Sim unlocked phone vs the actual unlocked model which is why I wanted to submit a review to hopefully help others in the same position. I returned the phone as a result of this and purchased a model clearly identifying itself as the USA Unlocked variant from another retailer as I couldn't find one for sale at Amazon.

So, it's day 2 of using this phone after buying renewed and it's completely worth it for the price. Phone came with 0 imperfections, and is working quite quickly and snappy. Loving the screen, the cameras, everything!

Love, love, love my phone. It's the prequel to the IPhone 11. It's amazingly light, water resistant and talking piece. I always wanted a high end unlocked phone because I hate being tied down to a phone company with crappy phones that are mid-tier .This is the one. LG is a very underrated phone company. It is THE phone for content creators. I am currently filming a documentary using this phone. I have fun with the AI stickers. The Avitar feature is dope. More accurate than IPhone.

Okay Re Cell Sold me and LG V40. They Must be lying because this phone looks brand spanking new. The phone came with everything included as if I had bought this phone brand new. (Headphones/fast charger) Not even a spec of dust was on this phone! If you buy I would highly recommend Re Cell over any of the other stores listed on here. My phone looks so nice.
