The G34 Pro is 10% smaller than the original G series and features a dull matte finish providing no unwanted reflections. New for 2016 is an adjustable PIR range that can be customized to capture targets at specified distances day or night. Now new G Pro can trigger out to 80ft to match your cameras night time illumination capabilities. Another useful new feature for 2016 is security mode (DVR mode), which incorporates re-write technology on your SD card. If your SD card were to fill up, you have the choice to choose whether or not it will re-write over the oldest pictures or videos on the card, keeping the most current information.
I vacillated between 2.5 & 3.5 stars. On the 3+ star side this is a dependable camera and will give you pictures every time. I've owned a G30 for several years and recently bought and tested the G34. Not much "real" difference between the two except for higher pixel resolution on the G34. I'll add that just before buying this I purchased another G30 and was very concerned when it would not operate at all, and I had to return it. I've have no issues using the Sandisk SDHC 32G 10 series SD card in either camera. I prefer a camera with an SD over the microSD in case I drop it in the field. There is no screen for previewing pictures but you can buy an inexpensive card reader that plugins into your phone. I carry extra SD cards when going to check on my cameras. Triggering range is very good, my setup triggered up to 60+ feet, but like most product advertising is not as good as the advertised 80 feet. Bordering on 4 stars is the price compared to construction quality. Construction of the G series camera is excellent and you don't have to worry about them being left out in any type of weather. In comparison I tried out a Campark and the motion sensors are covered by a glued on thin and flimsy piece of plastic that I damaged just trying to remove the protective cellophane out of the box.
I've owned many trail cameras, from several different manufacturers. I assure you, this is the best camera I've used. The price is just the icing on the cake. You can spend a lot more money for less camera! I'd give it 5 stars if the resolution were greater. Otherwise, you can't go wrong!
Works great. You can get a battery cable so it's awesome. Pictures aren't as clear as some of the cheaper cameras I have had. On custom it has a 5 second delay and this seems to work perfect for me I've had as many as 129 pictures in one day. All of deer or bear or raccoons. Never seems to have a false picture like some I've had that take a picture if the wind blows right.
these are the best camera we have found for the price. they take great pictures day and night. great product
Easy set up and easy to use. Night time pictures turned out great and are high quality. No blurs and fast trigger time. Purchased another one. The 34pro and the g42 are my two favorites from this brand.
Its the same as the old version. Just a different casing. The lowest trigger delay is not .5 seconds. It is 5 seconds. So you miss something that runs or walks by before it starts recording
Takes grainy pictures and video's
Takes great quality videos
Performs well and takes good video and pictures
les premières utilisations sont bonnes
