These are super cheap. You better just buy your own screws, because the ones that come with this will strip and break! The camera does not stay tightened in position very well. Get it set and don’t touch it or it will move. Another brand I have holds the camera solid in place. They otherwise function, but I doubt the nut that holds the back of the camera will last long, it’s a very soft cheap plastic. So just look for another brand. It’s easy enough to install if the screws don’t break.
Vary low grade quality of metal all around, I guess the reason this is half the price of name brand stuff - Half the quality. I used an electric bit to screw the first one the the wall. Each time the screws broke at the head. Ok they are screws I know. But the collar on the mount that's holds the angle tight, both ears that you hold to turn broke very easy because the threads are crap and got stuck, the locking ring to secure the camera is made of plastic and they didn't even thread them so they go on sideways when you try and tighten them. Basically this is a cheap product.
Got these because they are a good deal compared to the official Arlo ones. They come with the screws needed. I used them with Arlo Pro 2 cameras and they mounted fine. The issue I had with them was trying to tighten them to keep the camera in place. You tighten the top part with the 2 flanges sticking out which squeezes the unit on the ball the camera is connected to, which keeps it in place. I turned it until it stopped, but the camera could still move. I rotated the mount so the ball could only move left to right and not up and down, so they worked out fine.
These are knock-offs. Not even near the quality of the mounts that ship with the system. They are cheaply made, come with zinc harware that will corrode in less than a year and also come with the cheapest wall anchors money can buy. If you buy these mounts, go to the hardware store and buy SS screws and better anchors.
This is a good Arlo mount alternative to have. It fits perfectly with the Arlo camera but with a fraction of the price. You won't be able to tell the differences from the original brands. It's also super easy to install, and you can adjust the angles on the mount to your liking. It comes with all the tools you need to install. I give full credits to the vendor for that. That is very thoughtful and convenient.
Great price and quality product. More important this is a company that cares about your satisfaction. I received the wrong color and they made sure I got the correct color and did so quickly. I would definitely buy from them again.
One of these mounts broke while trying to lock it down the first time. After a couple adjustments it locked up and would not lock in place. Also broke off one of the mounting screws while hand tightening it. Compared to OEM Arlo mounts, these are not nearly as nice...but at least the screw holes have the same distance, so you can easily replace with a better mount.
Although these are metal and supposedly equivalent to the Netgear mounts, the threads are so roughly cut that my first mount siezed after hand-tightening. I had to resort to pliers to try and loosen it enough to move. But instead the small metal flange snapped off of the collar and it became useless. The second mount nearly did the same thing
