I bought this without a lot of reviews, so I wanted to add my own two cents. I got a Me and My Big Ideas Happy Planner for my birthday, and the spaces on the pages are perfectly suited for the photos printed from this kind of printer. I also wanted to be able to print pictures on the go for travel journals. |
I've been considering purchasing one of these printers for a while now, but finally decided to go for it after seeing posts from a wedding - I recently got engaged and thought this would be the perfect way to print off fun wedding memories, and I was not disappointed! The printer itself is sleek and compact, the perfect size to throw in my purse, which makes the quality of the photos it prints all the more impressive. I wasn't expecting such crisp, high-quality images, but all the ones I've printed have come out looking just as good as they did on my phone screen! The quality of the product is evident, even down to the laminated instructional booklet, and the entire augmented reality photo/video concept feels like the perfect cross between the cute aesthetic of tangible, polaroid photos and the fun and ease of customizing the image AND having all of the action on video! |
I love this idea and saw it work in the store really well. I got it as a birthday gift but whats great about it is its portability but there is no on/off switch so if you take it to where you are going, the battery is dead by the time you get there - also the top comes off so easily and then all the film falls out. I think I will wait until the next generation to buy this again. |
This little printer is something special. Inkless printer, I could not help but wonder how that worked. It is all in the paper. After reading how the temperature in paper would work, I knew that I could not expect the best photographs! Especially not in a 2x3 photo. Overall this is a great little printer, actually bought it for my wife, which she loves it. The hyper photo is cool too, just keep in mind in order to use it the app must be downloaded, so that means your friends, etc have to download it as well. The print speed is pretty quick, about less than 30 sec's to print it out. The paper it prints on is cool, you can tear the back off and stick them on things. Just bought a pack of 50 papers, so will be printing out a lot more. I read reviews people saying there is no power button or way to tell if it is on, but there is a power button, along with indicator lights to let you know what is going on with the device. |
Just slightly a year, the picture quality becomes like that. Streaks across the prints. The refill package that I received is already yellowish |
