TEKCAM Car Suction Cup Mount

Perfect accessory to take pictures, record you driving routes, races or any moment you want to capture with your camera or recorder.

How to Use:

1.Remove the plastic film underneath the suction pad.

2.Make sure suction cup firmly attract to the Smooth Surfaces and then press the grip down. (Use a cloth or rag to make sure the surface is dry and clean)

3.Flip the Hinge over to the opposite side to create a strong vacuumed suction.

4.Now you can mount your Camera to the suction cup screw adapter, and adjust the angle as required.

5.To un-mount the suction cup, just flip the hinge back to the opposite side again, then use one finger to slide the Small flap under suction pad up whilst lifting the entire suction cup mount from the surface.

First of all, what happened with me is not TekCam's fault. I somehow got the idea the mount provided 360-degree omnidirectional pointing. It doesn't and somehow despite the image on Amazon, I got that impression. Simply put, I should have paid closer attention. Beyond that, the mount seems sturdy but really isn't in terms of the moveable parts staying locked into position. This despite screwing it as tight as you can. However, the suction on a glass surface, which was how I intended to use it, is rock solid. Even after you release the suction lock it is reluctant to let go. Which is why it has a tab on the base you lift to fully release it. I planned to return it but decided to not do so. Why? Two reasons. The print your own UPS label wasn't an option. That being the case, a $5.99 returning shipping charge is deducted from your refund, resulting in a $2.00 total refund on a $7.00 purchase. I will just shop for a mount with a ball joint and give the TekCam to Goodwill, Inc. TekCam may be right for you but it was all wrong for me.

Well.. last week I rated this ítem with one star since it didn't work. However they contacted me immediately and offer a solution, I followed the steps they gave me and now the suction cup seems to be working more test should be made. However I am giving more stars due to the great customer service they have.
