I bought couple of HDMI cables as I was setting up my 4K projector. None worked. I was testing on PS4 Pro and BenQ Tk800. After reading a lot of reviews I finally purchased this cable and mannn, best decision. My search ended with these. You can see the attached pic, which describes the complete Video Output details. 5 Stars. Absolutely No Lag. Cable length is 50 feet and I played Destiny 2, God of War, Just Cause 3 and can testify that there is no lag, no dropping of frames. It’s only my second day, but I’m so pleased to see a cable that finally delivers what it promised.

I have a long run, ~36ft, from my Sony XBR75x900e 4K TV to my Denon x4400h receiver. Initially I purchased a 50ft cable and I was unable to get a consistent signal for a 4K HDR video coming from my Xbox One X. From what I have read, 50ft is pushing it for limits on 4K signals especially with 4:4:4 chroma at 60hz. I ruled out issues with my devices by using a 30ft cable I had which worked perfectly. After connecting the 40ft length cable, it does work perfectly as expected.

This is a review and description of a configuration of several video components used together to achieve a couple goals. The goals were to eliminate a cable set top box by effectively cloning all the sources that were previously attached to one of the TVs to the other TV. The second goal was to eliminate the audio lag that previously existed with two cable boxes tuned to the same channel with one of them being a DVR which introduces the lag and a standard box attached to TVs in adjacent rooms.

Part of the challenge that this solution had to address was that the main TV is a 4K UHD Samsung and the other TV is a much older 720p Samsung. This mixed mode requires a switch that can handle having two devices with different resolutions.

The basic approach was to get the 5 sources into one cable and then have a switch split that one cable out to two televisions.

I used the J-Tech Digital HDMI Switch 5X1 [JTECH-18GSW5] to combine the multiple mixed sources into one. I have 4 sources in play and they are a Samsung 4K Blu-Ray, an Arris HD DVR, a TIVO HD OTA, and a Chromecast. I have one port open for another random device that may be used from time to time such as my son's Apple TV when he comes over to visit. I used the HDMI cables that were in use before to connect each of these devices to the 5x1 switch.

I connected the 5x1 switch to the 1x2 switch with a new 3 ft KabelDirekt 4K HDMI Cable.

The 1x2 switch I have is the J-Tech Digital Scaler/Multi-Resolution Output (MRO) 18GBps 1x2 HDMI 2.0 Splitter [JTECH-18GSP12M]. I have it attached to each TV also with new KabelDirekt 4K HDMI Cables: one is a 3 ft and the other is a 50ft which will eventually be run inside the wall into and across the attic and then down into the wall behind the remote TV.

Once I had thought through what was needed, getting all the pieces together was as easy as connecting all the cables as described above. The 5x1 does automatically switch between which ever source is on. If more than one device is one, there is a remote and a button on top of the unit that can be used to switch between the active sources.

With this configuration, I can have both TVs on or have either one off and still have use of the sources on the one that is on. Since both TVs are Smart TVs, I can utilize that feature to watch something different on either TV if that is needed to be done.

I am quite pleased with the result and would recommend all the components used.

This cable replaces an Aurum 35 foot 28 awg in-wall cable installed last year that gradually failed over time. Auto signal detect times on my projector gradually increased and it stopped working altogether. I was going to try an active signal booster, but first I wanted to make sure there was a signal to boost. I'm glad I did; continuity testing revealed two completely open (broken) connections. The cable was bad, and attempts to isolate the break were limited to a few feet of cable at either end of the in-wall installation. Beyond that, field termination and repair of HDMI cables is a nightmare, even for someone who has spent decades in the electronics industry and has a magnified soldering station and precision tip soldering irons. The Aurum cable's last noble service was to serve as a cable pulling fish tape for the new KabelDirekt 35 foot 26 awg cable.

Going from 28 even just to 26 gauge conductors means measurably less resistance and signal loss over a moderately long (35 feet in my case) run. The cable appears to be very well constructed. Signal acquisition by my home theater projector is now almost instantaneous; no hunting for an HDMI source like before. The slightly thicker gauge also has a better safety margin against burnout on the 5 v power loop. This was a far more attractive and cost effective solution than pulling bulk 24 awg HDMI cable (at ~$1.75 a foot unless you buy industrial size rolls of it) and field terminating it, a job comparable to doing precision repair work on surface mount PC (printed circuit) boards, OK only if you're a very skilled technician or really hard-core electronics hobbyist. For the price, this cable seems to be the real deal. In hindsight, I'd never accept a 28 awg cable for a 35 foot run, but that goes under the heading "learning curve."

Cant say too much I just received it and installed it today. Everything works great. I will tell you this. I purchased this to add another viewing screen for my Home Security Cameras in my bedroom. The website for my cameras say that you cant use over 30 ft. of HDMI. Well I'm using 50 ft. of these guys brand and it works great. So it has to be great quality.

Great cable. Just installed a new 4k security system. The system came with a 6 foot cord, but I wanted to move the location of my monitor. Found this cable, read its reviews, and at first I purchased a 25 footer. It was too short (so I found out) but I can use it in another application. I went back to reorder a new cable and now I new I needed at least 40 feet and to be able to go through a wall. Order this cable, it arrived early and was great. I was able to snake it into my wall, and back the 30 extra feet needed. I would recommend this cable to anyone.

Bought to use on new QLED tv as the HDMI cables used on old tv gave a very poor picture with the new tv.I was not too sure about buying these because I thought maybe the price was too low to give a good performance.
But I found that they were excellent and I would have no hesitation in buying again.

Excellent quality cables!!Forget paying stupid prices in the major high street shops when they give you the selling speak it's all rubbish. These cables are just as good if not better than the rubbish you buy from retail stores.Excellent quality and excellent delivery thankyou KabelDirekt.

I ordered 2x2M lengths, price was very competitive, and the cables are very high quality, the connections fit nice and snug in the sockets, all good so far.

Had problems with a new LG oled 4k tv connections to Samsung soundbar, I kept losing sound through the hdmi ports. As soon as I upgraded to these hdmi cables everything has been working as it should.

Excellent cables. I thought I had an issue but it turned out to be a setting of the TV.

They are excellent quality cables, not much more I can say really
