Hate the camera I bought it for... the lens seems ok. It worked for school.

Lens was exactly what we were looking for and arrived safely and promptly.

the shutter gets stuck most of the time. i have to tap the capture button again to make it open again. when the shutter actually works my photos at first come out very overexposed. and then after a while it finally comes around and evens itself out and looks like the beautiful photo i imagined. but that never happened with other lenses so i don’t think that’s normal right?
it’s very frustrating when i try to capture something and the shutter gets stuck closed.

1-there is a black plastic rim on the lens that came broken. That rim is on the lens and stays there but it broken.
The lens was shipped in an envelop that had no padding.
