Was debating on rather to buy new or certified refurbish and decided to take the plunge on the refurbish one and I'm glad I did. saving some $$$ in the process.

The item looked like new, ran like new. I didn't get all the jazzy manuals that would have came with a new one but you can download them off Canon website easy as pie.

If you looking at this cerified refurbish camera and wondering if you should get it or not...get it! Save yourself some money. You will not be disappointed.

I just got mine today with zero (0) shutter count and this thing is fast compared to my older T6. 7 fps vs 3 fps and way more focus points. Can't say too much about it, just got it but I'm loving it so far.

Coming from an SX50HS, this camera is leaps and bounds better. The specs are, of course, a huge improvement, and there's more features than I'll probably ever use.

I've had no issues using the camera, pairing with a Tamron 100-400mm lens, and an older (from my old A2E) 28-105mm EF lens.

The image quality has been excellent.

So far so great! :D

I bought this refurbished model and it came with that brand-new smell, I would have had no clue it was refurbished if I didn’t buy it myself. Awesome camera I’m still learning how to use. Went amethyst mining up in Thunder Bay camera and took awesome photos :)

Shutter count was 5. Camera looked unopened / brand new, came packed with all accessories packaged and boxed. Bought this camera as a gift and you could not tell it was a refurb. Nice savings.

Refurbished always makes me nervous as I suppose for a lot of other people, but when I received the 80D it was in good working order and not a blemish, it takes amazing photos and I cannot wait to get more time with it, bug step up from my old t3i

So this last summer I shot an event and ended up taking over 32,500 pictures in 10-days with this body. These pictures were action type pictures. The Canon 80D Renewed never failed to keep up with the action. Worked flawlessly. Very, very happy with the performance it provided.

Only concern I have is when taking landscape shots. Seems like no matter how I change the settings the sky is burned out. Even with a polarizer filter. I have been shooting landscape photography for a long long time with Canon cameras. This is the reason I took off a star for Picture Quality. Something just does not seem right. My Canon T3i's do a better job with landscape.

But for the performance it provided for my summer action shoot, I will give the Canon 80D Renewed 5-Stars. I purchase this body for action type shooting. I will let the 6D Mk II do the job for landscape stuff.

Shutter malfunctioned multiple times, including at a wedding I was shooting. Reached out to seller and they took the low road, saying because I was three weeks outside of warranty, they have no responsibility to remedy. Terrible.
