    • I find that my 30D with the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L is 10 5/8" tall. Even with my Canon 1.4x extender, it is only 11 3/4" tall and should fit in the C580. (Feb 2007)
    • I thought you would like to know that the large holster case that I ordered earlier this month fits my Hasselblad H2D with the macro 120mm lens with hood on (extended). I can just reach right in and grasp the battery grip, pull the camera out and up to my eye, support it with my left hand, and shoot. All in 5 seconds! (May 2006)
    • Just wanted to let you know that the C580 fits my new Hasselblad H2 with 50mm lens and shade like a glove! I may end up putting a shorter rubber eyepiece on the viewfinder, as its about 1/4" longer then desired, but that is about it. I have the RRS L bracket on for the camera.(March 2006)
Constructed with 10mm closed cell foam on the sides, 6mm on the lid, and for additional protection, 16mm on the bottom.

Fits my A77 with the my big 70-400mm lens perfectly. Great construction, lots of room and very sturdy.

Excellent top-loading holster case when you want to carry a longer lens. My D7100 fits in here with a 50-150mm f/2.8 (DX equivalent of the 70-200mm f/2.8 and basically the same physical size) with room to spare, even with the attached lens hood. Internally there is a thick foam cushion with velcro that can be repositioned to adjust for shorter lenses. If side carried the top opens away from you to make access to the camera easy, and there's a top strap with buckle that can be used for quicker access when you don't need the extra security provided by zipping it. The zippers operate easily and are covered to provide protection from the elements. Front of the pouch has a pocket for small accessories (spare battery, a couple filters, etc...). Each side of the pouch has Kinesis's KATS system mount points so that you can attach other accessory pouches. Their KATS system is also compatible with other common attachment systems such as Lowepro's (my Lowepro flash pouch attaches without an issue) and MOLLE. Back of the pouch has velcro KATS tabs so that you can attach this to compatible gear if desired (in my case I used it with a MOLLE harness to convert it into a backpack, though Kinesis does make their own backpack harness - you just need the H255 backpack straps and H170 adapter). There's also a D-ring on each side for use with a shoulder strap and four D-rings on the rear for use with their backpack straps. Construction quality is excellent, like all Kinesis gear.
