In Stockli>When used on a Kinesis waist belt, the optional Y309 strap kit is recommended to prevent the top of the case from pulling away from the belt.
Fits my A77 with the my big 70-400mm lens perfectly. Great construction, lots of room and very sturdy. |
Excellent top-loading holster case when you want to carry a longer lens. My D7100 fits in here with a 50-150mm f/2.8 (DX equivalent of the 70-200mm f/2.8 and basically the same physical size) with room to spare, even with the attached lens hood. Internally there is a thick foam cushion with velcro that can be repositioned to adjust for shorter lenses. If side carried the top opens away from you to make access to the camera easy, and there's a top strap with buckle that can be used for quicker access when you don't need the extra security provided by zipping it. The zippers operate easily and are covered to provide protection from the elements. Front of the pouch has a pocket for small accessories (spare battery, a couple filters, etc...). Each side of the pouch has Kinesis's KATS system mount points so that you can attach other accessory pouches. Their KATS system is also compatible with other common attachment systems such as Lowepro's (my Lowepro flash pouch attaches without an issue) and MOLLE. Back of the pouch has velcro KATS tabs so that you can attach this to compatible gear if desired (in my case I used it with a MOLLE harness to convert it into a backpack, though Kinesis does make their own backpack harness - you just need the H255 backpack straps and H170 adapter). There's also a D-ring on each side for use with a shoulder strap and four D-rings on the rear for use with their backpack straps. Construction quality is excellent, like all Kinesis gear. |
